This is a fantastic option if you're struggling with a deep cough and persistent chest congestion. I picked up the 8 Fl Oz bottle because I had a cold that wouldn't quit. The biggest pro is the efficacy of the "Max" formula—the combination of Dextromethorphan (cough suppressant) and Guaifenesin (expectorant) is powerful. It completely calmed my nighttime cough within 30 minutes of the first dose, and I genuinely felt the congestion starting to break up the next morning. The honey flavor is a definite upgrade from the usual medicinal syrups, making the required 20mL dose much more palatable, though it still tastes like medicine (it is not a treat!). The main con is that because of the strong DM component, it does cause noticeable drowsiness, so stick to the nighttime use or clear your schedule. For incredible value and reliable relief, I highly recommend this adult formula. It works exactly as advertised.

Tastes sooo much better than the original. Since I will avoid taking the original flavor (yuck), it’s worth the extra couple bucks for something that doesn’t taste bad. Obviously, it works great. Been taking this brand (as needed) for almost 60 years.

Tastes awful but works amazing. Great cold medicine. It's almost an instant relief for cough and throat.

Works for me!
If you've used Robitussin before, it either works for you or it doesn't. It works for me, so I'm happy. I usually use it for a dry cough, and it still manages to clear gunk from my lungs.
