Le Creuset Enameled Cast Iron Signature Round Dutch Oven, 7.25 qt., Flamme Doree with Crucible Knob

This is a Christmas present for my wife. She has other Le Creuset pieces and these are the best for cooking. Even heat across the surface so food cooks evenly. You really can tell a difference with Le Creuset.

The absolute best. Perfect in every way. Cooks well. Cleans easily. Good value for your money.

I wanted 1 piece from the 100th Anniversary edition and this is what I chose. 5 quart, as they say you can make a little in a big pot but you can't make a lot in a little pot. I have used it almost every day since receiving. It is on the heavy side but with the handles it seems lighter in weight. I don't care for long handles making the item harder to store. My kitchen is small and I need all the space I can get. You can use it as a true braiser and finish the meal in the oven but I use it more like a frying pan, high sides help when turning food over. Loving the sparkles in the color. Clean- up is a breeze. I wish I had bought Le Creuset earlier in life, I spent too much money over the years for pot and pan sets, these items last forever!

Showed up loose in a plastic bag and was broken. Only the product was there; all accessories were missing.

The item was fantastic; however the packaging was significantly damaged. This was a gift so I felt as though I was giving something substandard even though I knew the product was number one.

More than worth the price. They could charge $1600 and it would still be a bargain.
