HOUSEWORKS 67140 18" Lx12.5 Wx9.5 H Large Crates & Pallet Wood Crate

This is a beautiful crate, strong and sturdy. I was planning to stain or paint it, but the wood is so nice looking I'm rethinking that plan. Another huge plus for me is it comes ready to use right out of the box, no assembly needed. I'm going to order another one.

Got these when they went on sale for our wedding. Great quality - one out of the four came broken, but it was an easy return and easy replace. We stained these a dark oak color, and they stained really well! Just hard to get into all the cracks with the stain - so plan some time! Gorgeous and sturdy.

I got this to hold my toys for our dogs, German Shepherds, must have for lots of toys in the house, it seems very sturdy and looks great, also great size to hold lots of toys

LOVED THIS WOOD CRATE!I have purchased other wood crates over the years (that were more expensive)... this, by FAR, was the BEST wood crate I have received!!! Not only was this crate the best price, this crate smelled the best of ANY other wood crate I have EVER purchased, it had the nicest quality of wood, had the smoothest texture of all other wooden crates (felt like it was sanded on ALL sides!), and I was MOST happy with THIS crate compared to ANY of the other crates I have ever purchased from Amazon! I purchased this crate to put potted succulents and cacti on this. In the past, I have also purchased crates for wedding reception and home decor.

The sides look solid in the picture. They aren't. That's my only disappointment. As you see I made into a book box for a baby gift

This crate is exactly as described. I am using it turned on its side (secured with bungee cords) as a step for my cat to reach his litter box. It is unfinished wood so I did have to inspect it for anything that looked like it might cause a splinter. (I found one piece that just pulled right off.) I’m planning on covering it with contact paper, staining it, or spray painting it when I have the time. I will note that I bought it hoping that it would slide over a Litter Genie (17” tall), but it did not fit. That was my error, I’m still new to the whole decorating thing — I used the outside dimensions to see if it would fit, not realizing that the inside dimensions would be smaller. It’s working great concealing some other cat stuff though, so it’s just a lesson learned for the future. I don’t think the inside dimensions are listed here so I’ll include them for anyone who is wondering: 16 7/16” x 12” x 9 1/16” (the depth is 9 1/16”).

The two of these crates are added to three more previously purchased. The stack well and don't take up much room. For the most part I use mine as mini-bookcases for my most favorite books and some of my CDs. All of this is close to my favorite chair. The crates are attractive with the grain of the wood showing. Price is great.

I love crates!! Can be used as is or painted/stained to match decor. I live in a cabin so leave natural when stacked in garage for wet boots and shoes. Use in closet arranged to hold bins and shoes. Can be painted and used as plant stand. So many uses!
