I had a feral queen give birth to four kittens on Mother's Day in May 2025. I brought them inside with her and began tearing and socializing them. However one of them, a little cream colored boy named Faust, started showing signs that he was failing to thrive when the others were weaning from their mother and he refused. He would constantly dig at her for milk, even when he was 3 & 4 months old. When she left he began digging at the bellies of his siblings, desperate to nurse. No amount of coaxing or trying would encourage him to transition to regular food--not mousse or pate, not chicken or tuna or beef flavors, not chunky vs soup-textured foods, not anything that had been watered down, absolutely NOTHING. For a while I was able to sustain him on Stage 2 KMR but eventually he stopped producing lactase to digest the lactose in the milk & began having diarrhea. I switched from the KMR to whole milk Lactaid since it was lactose-free, but obviously this was not enough to supplement a growing kitten. I found a high-calorie paste that I could smear on his paw, but he'd kick most of it off before licking the rest. Finally he began eating the Tiki Cat Baby Thrive packets, but these are mostly fat & protein --there are no vitamins within those packets. I was desperate. He was still extremely active despite everything, but then would crash and be lethargic for most.od.the day afterwards. We took him to a vet that told us he was "failing to thrive" and that sometimes this just happens; if we didn't want him to starve to death we would have to put him down. He was actually impressed that I had kept him alive for so long as it was. It came back to not getting the vitamins he needed from his diet, and suggested that if he could get them that maybe it would kickstart his appetite and encourage him to transition to solid food. After doing some research online I decided to go with Pet-Tinic, since they were almost universally highly recommended accross-the-board and extremely safe. Additionally, as a liquid they could be administered via a dropper--WAY easier than having to smear a paste on my kitten's paw, since just a quick squirt in his mouth and it was over and done. I began administering them immediately, slowly at first, only half the recommended daily dose to watch for adverse reactions, and then finally the full dose. Seemingly overnight he was suddenly energetic and playful --more so than he had been before, and the lethargy went away completely. He became ravenous, gorging on the Baby Thrive packets, which were clearly not enough. We tried introducing the same foods to him again--bur again, he rejected them, and we despaired. But then, a miracle happened. As it turns out, the Pet-Tinic drops are beef flavored. Gross, ikr? What cat on EARTH prefers beef over even chicken or tuna or salmon? We had tried beef before, but he rejected it. But one night I had made some homemade Beef & Broccoli and, while it was still fresh on the stove & my husband was getting a plate, little Faust became OBSESSED with the pan that contained the beef. Not wanting to poison the little guy with soy & onion, I got a small piece and thoroughly washed it off in the sink before offering it to him. He DEVOURED IT IN LESS THAN A SECOND. Before I knew it I had forgotten all about dinner and was dragging out fresh frozen sirloin cut for stir-fry from my freezer, rapid-thawing it and quickly frying it up with some simple olive oil in a pan and watching with absolute joy as this tiny little kitten who has just been dying a moment ago, who was going to be put down greedily devoured 6oz of sirloin steak cut ribbon-thin for stir-fry!! When he started feeling better from the Pet-Tinic drops, we think he began associating the "beef" flavor with "good stuff"; hence, the sudden ravenous desire for sirloin steak meat. And it never would have happened if we had never given him these pediatric drops. Now he is a healthy 6lbs, 6oz and five months old, the sweetest kitten ever, enjoying life with his siblings. I cannot say enough praise at how effective and reliable these drops have been at helping this little kitten. He still needs them, since beef alone does not contain all the vitamins & minerals he needs to grow and thrive, but I feel a lot better knowing that they are there to help him along the way. So if you're really unsure which product you should turn to, and you have a pet puppy or kitten who is struggling, trust me when I say these pediatric drops are a genuine LIFE -SAVER. My kitten alone proves that. Take care!

My dog was anemic due to an infection and with this supplement and proper diet, he recovered. Of course, between the antibiotics and the drops, he got diarrhea but this was a side effect of the combination of both.

I was recommended this product by a vet because my cat is anemic . We were having trouble getting her levels up. I bought this a month ago and give it to her twice a day. She just recently and another check up this past Saturday and I gotta say this product has exceeded our expectations! Her levels are back to normal again and she is gaining weight! I will continue to use this product for my elderly kitty for as long as I can while we still have her! Great product and I am so glad I found a vet who does not immediately go to euthanasia!
