WILL SHORT OUT
Worked alright for a couple weeks. Noticed my truck slowly losing power a little more every day and checked the return line to find a bunch of black slime. Opened the pump and found the solenoid had melted and filled my injection pump with what I can only assume is a type of resin from the coils. It will work for a short time if you’re in a pinch but spend the money and get a good Flag or bosche solenoid and save your engine. My pump and injectors are shot now.

Test before installing
I had a issues with fuel delivery on a 83 Chevy K20 6.2 liter diesel. I tracked the issue to the fuel shut off solenoid. So, i ordered two of these replacement solenoids one to install and a spare. Because of the price and coming from China I didn't have much faith in the longevity of them. I got them in a reasonable amount of time and well packaged. Before installing I bench test them. And,both of them failed the continuity test. So, I contacted Amazon and two replacements were shipped to me that day. I got them a few days later and both of these passed the bench test. I installed one in the injection pump and I was back on the road. When this solenoid goes out you will normally not get any warning. Your driving one moment and on the side of the road waiting for a tow truck the next. The price of these are alot less than what you are going to pay for a tow truck. My suggestion is to buy two of these bench test them and put the spare in the glove box. So, when the one in the injector pump goes out you can grab your harry home owner tools and swap the bad one out with the good one on side of the road. The worse that will happen is that you will smell like diesel. But, you will have the money that you would have spent on a tow truck still in your pocket. Yeah I know the first two was junk. I did price these at a sticks and brick store and I was quoted a price of $171.00 plus tax. I was told the box said assembled in the USA. Where the parts comes from is anyone guess. So, that is my experience with these solenoids. As with everything involving a vehicle. You pay your money and take your chances.

So far so good. I am still working on the truck but it is working and running with this part so far. I'm just not using everyday at this point but will be soon so will update if anything changes with daily use.

Worked as advertised
Needed it to replace the broken fuel shut off solenoid on my 1992 F250 with the 7.3. It was about a 20min job, super easy and the truck fired right up.
