If it were not for the few quality control issues and additional requirements for me to drill and fix small parts, I would have given this stand a five star review. At this price point, I am still saying this is a good product and I am happy about my purchase. I was skeptical based on the negative reviews; however, I was willing to risk it at the price point for a 2,000 lb capacity stand that was large enough for my new 125 gallon aquarium. Either upgrades have been made or the negative reviewers were not assembling the stand correctly. Once the bolts and screws are tightened, the unit is very stable and does not wobble as demonstrated in the negative video review. The only wood screws are for attaching the MDF/fiber board sides and attaching the power strip to these boards. There are also additional brackets that are installed that prevent sway side to side and front to back. Prior to installing these, there were no stability issues after fully tightening all the screws. Overall I am very satisfied with my purchase and I have not doubts about the ability of this stand to work for my aquarium. There are a few flaws or areas to improve that I have listed below. There were extra screws, bolts, and rolls of the anti-slip foam tape. The shelf supports screw into the legs instead of simply sliding in. This is a nice feature and makes the shelf very stable. The shelf itself has an external support beam that is mounted during assembly and has notches for the supports to slide into and stabilize the shelf. CONS: Limited quality control prior to shipping. The sides have the alignment holes mismatched. I had to drill a new pilot hole in the side to align with the metal side. The foam anti-slip tape comes up short on the long sides. The short middles are deliberately short to allow the longer front and back pieces to fit; however, these pieces were short a full side piece width to reach the end. I used the spare pieces to cut a small extension. Three holes were either not properly tapped/cut or misaligned. Two of them were only bad enough to need a little extra force to thread, then I backed out and used and new bolt/screw. One was so bad that I used force until the bolt stopped turning. Overall the stand is extremely stable and this one bolt did not cause any issues with stability. Not a negative thing, but I would personally have an alternate location for the power strip to mount and include an additional shelf. Since the power strip is mounted to the sides with screws, this can be done easily. If you need a heavy duty aquarium stand at a reasonable price, this is a great option.

Went together fairly easily. Needed a level. Supports a huge fish tank well. I was nervous but it's great. Don't forget to position it carefully, along beams of your home.

Very well built but the top of the stand on both sides have an open slot which doesn’t show in the pictures and it exposes the sump and other elements that let noises out of the stand so you’ll definitely hear water from both sides of the stand. Also measure your sump if you’re using one because mine barely fit and if it didn’t fit I’d have to dis assemble & send back to shipper. Lastly the assembly instructions weren’t very helpful so I had to take apart the entire stand a few times because some parts wouldn’t line up. If it was up to me I wouldn’t have never bought, I would’ve just bought one from a local aquarium store already assembled and with no openings on the sides of the stand.

I put this together myself without the help of my husband . This is very sturdy ! I needed a heavy duty stand for my 125 gallon saltwater tank since I was adding lots of sand and over 100 pounds of live rock . This is well made and well worth the money. And easy to put together !! Highly recommend

So far the stand seems excellent, but I haven’t filled my tank. The other reviews that miss the fact that the holes are some times out of alignment was something I did not experience. I did experience having to chase the threads on a few holes because they were not cleaned out properly. It took three hours and 40 minutes to assemble. And I recommend using a power drill to do this because the way you have to force the machine screws into the metal would tire your hands out far before you’re done assembling. The instructions were clear and everything was labeled appropriately, and there were plenty of extra parts. Which you will need because sometimes the Allen wrench would not fit in the hole of the machine screw. The foam tape was short as others have noted, but there was extra provided so that it was easy to cut the original piece back a little bit shorter and add in the additional amount. Other reviews have also noted that the power strip only can be put on one side, which is not accurate. Both sides are pre-drilled for the power strip to be attached. However, the instructions only show it going on one way. The same goes with the adjustable shelf it can be placed on either side of the stand, but the instructions only show it going on the left. These are just things you have to pay attention to and figure out on your own. It’s four stars, because this would be an absolute joke to assemble with the tools that are provided. It fits my 72 inch long 125 gallon tank perfectly. I am concerned about the unevenness in the surface of the stand, shown in the two photos, and the stress it might place upon the tank. Should that cause any problems I will be amending my review.
