Columbia Women's Hatana Max Outdry Hiking Shoe

I bought these in a 6.5, I feel they are true to size, I have quite broad feet. I got them for dog walking and they are brilliant. I walk on grass/muddy conditions they have good traction and are 99% waterproof with just my big toes getting a little damp in really wet conditions. Best of all they are super comfortable, I have plantar fasciitis and I have minimal pain whilst walking. They seem to be durable, I've had them 4 months and no problems to date. I would definitely buy them again.

Purchased through Amazon resale & had the added bonus of watching their journey from Amazon EU (am I the only one who loves watching the tracking?). Am a half size (4.5) so went with the 5 & was definitely the right decision. On first trying them on, I thought they were way too small, as were really hard to get on. However, once I'd taken them on and off a few times, loosened the laces right out etc, they became more supple & the fit appears to be spot on. Just the right amount of space from the big toe & width is perfect for me. I have wood veneer floors which are a good test for the grip on shoes & it appears to be excellent on the Hatana. Not tested the waterproof aspect as yet but as they are Max Outdry, am not expecting problems.

I’ve had these shoes for a year now. They are indeed solid, quite difficult to wear in actually. My main reason for the 1 stars is their complete lack of waterproofing!! My feet get soaking every time I venture out, even if it’s just an average UK shower. Extremely disappointing. Won’t be purchasing from this brand again.

Been buying Columbia shoes for a few years now and would recommend. Comfy as soon as you put them on, very supportive underfoot and keep my feet dry.

These hiking boots are amazing and is able to negotiate the most challenging terrain, rain and mud that the UK can throw at it. I was recently on some very dodgy trails in the Peak district that was very slippery, had loose rocks and very muddy, and wearing these shoes were reassuring. Highly recommended.

They are indeed waterproof but they are rock hard and uncomfortable.

These were doing very well for about a month. Worn regularly, lots of walking, comfortable, sturdy, no leaking… then one morning in long grass and they’re soaked through. Conveniently, just outside the return window. Waste of money.

I needed shoes for a trip that I could wear hiking, in a rainy climate, in tropical weather, so my normal hiking boots wouldn’t work. These are comfortable like sneakers and really did keep my feet dry. I didn’t need to break them in and never got any blisters, which is unusual for me.

I just got back from vacation where I went for hikes every day for up to 6 hours a day. I am SO IMPRESSED with these shoes. I was worried I was screwing myself by not spending enough money. But believe me, these shoes are so comfortable and so worth it. They provided just enough support for me. They have pretty good grip on the bottom of the shoe. They fit great. They weren't too heavy. And I enjoyed the neutral style. Love that you don't have to spend as fortune to get good shoes. Thank you!
