As a YouTube content creator, I've always had difficulty having steady footage with my phone recording videos of myself. This tripod has literally improved my content because of how great the tripod grapples with any surface, the flexibility is amazing, and above all the security of the tripod with the phone.Recording can be quite difficult especially if the footage you need to record or the picture you want to take a picture of is required to be steady at all times. Well, with this phone holding tripod can do the trick whether you are inside at home, at a sporting event, and even outside. Whatever that can be held, the tripod can firmly grapple to anything like a anaconda vice, very difficult to being loose. When the product came through the door I was really happy with how it came, the packaging was excellent and no smudges or dents. The box which held inside the product was safely protected by the polyair. Once I opened it, the product and its accessories were in perfect brand new condition along with a small paper thank you for buying the item.The item itself is about 12-inches long and fit inside a bookbag with no problem. It is really nice and strong, it would be extremely difficult to damage this item. The fact that you can grapple it with just about anything and it can stand on a flat surface with no problem is a huge plus. I love the fact that I can travel anywhere and within my reach at all times, it is very convenient and easy to use.Now for the security portion of the tripod, it is pretty good but can be better. If you are somewhere that moves a lot, the phone can possibly fall off, but it holds pretty good and it would take a hard shaking in order to knock it off the mount. Aside from that, it works amazing for any still images or footage so if you are looking for a tripod to take videos of yourself for example doing makeup or you are outside and place it on a bar, this is definitely for you.Last but not least, the remote works like a charm! Now I do warn those who do purchase it, this item is very small and can easily be swallowed by children and can be lost easily. This remote is made out of plastic and feels hallow, so if you step on it accidentally, i am pretty sure it will never work again. The remote works with bluetooth so you connect it to your device and that's it! All you have to do is turn the switch on and connect it to the phone and with a simple click, you are able to take pictures remotely!!All in all, this product works excellent. I love the durability of the item. Works amazing in just about in place and any surface. The remote is an amazing feature which was very easy to use. Really cool stuff right here. I have another mini tripod that I use for recording videos. I was contacted to test this product and ordered.The other tripod I have is the Ubeesize portable tripod. Comparing the two, the Ubeesize has a foam like covering on the tripod legs. They are flexible, but not in comparison to this tripod by WAAO. With the WAAO tripod, you could bend it at any point between the knobs. This gives you flexibility in using it in pretty much any photo or filming situation.Regarding the phone clamp, the WAAO tripod has a phone mount that holds the phone securely. The mount unscrews and the tripod has a universal mount for other types of cameras.As for the comments regarding the remote, I think this is an issue with phone software rather than the remote itself. The Bluetooth remote looks to me to be pretty much like ones you get with other brands of tripods. It is similar to the one that came with my Ubeesize tripod. On my phone, the remote works with the standard camera app that comes with my phone, but not with the Open Camera app which I use to record. The remote does -something- with the Open Camera app, just not start and stop recording.Between the Ubeesize and this tripod from WAAO, I would recommend this tripod as it is more flexible, and I also like the phone mount better.I was sent this tripod to review, but the opinions are my own

It was great while it lasted! Two years and two months ain’t bad.

The sticky part that is on the flat part of the device which hold your phone fell by the wayside months ago my phone keeps flying out I think I have it in there secure and step away from it and it flies out from the holding device also the camera remote device stopped working I pushed the little side button to open it up to see what kind of batteries it takes and it doesn't even take batteries so when it's done it's done. I have not used this but maybe 10 times since I purchased it and it is already started giving me that much trouble. I thought it was a great idea and I think I wasn't even aware that it came with the bonus remote camera which is cool. It's a lot better than having to find your timer on your phone and said it and get everybody aligned for the picture just wondering if anyone else has ever had this problem with this particular item. Cuz I really like it and it sucks

As you can see from the picture above, there are many competitors out there with similar products. What makes this brand different from the others, is the attachment in which your cell phone is gripped in. On the left-hand side is the "other brand" and on the right is TOP ONE brand. TOP ONE"S brand allowed for my phone case width to be securely attached into the grip whereas, with the other brand, I had to take my phone out of the case to allow for it to fit inside the grip. Yes, the other brand has a fancier grip but it does not open up enough for a phone with a case. I love the fact that TOP ONE's grip is more flexible in this sense.The OCTOPUS legs are very useful when wanting to film from difficult angles and have a strong grip. The wireless camera remote is also a great added feature for taking photos.My overall HONEST review is that sometimes when you think the fancier is better, that is not always the case. I love the fact I don't have to lose the security of my phone care to be able to use this product. They have kept it simple and easy to use with this in mind.
