Works perfectly, the new scraper works much better than the previous model.

I think these are worth the extra cash if you spend a lot of time in the back country. These ferro rods throw fantastic white sparks. They look as good as they perform. They also have one of the best strikers I’ve used that’s not a 90 degree spine. Overall a solid package that deserves to cost this much.

Longer than expected. Still does the job.

Such great products. I have many of the different styles for different reasons. The ones with handles are for around camp. The ones without are what I use for my packs. You can't go wrong with any choice you make. The quality of the ferro rod is superior to any I have found so far.
