The retainers that secure the hood to the Gps unit were loose so I put a dab of black hot glue on each and its sturdy and stays on well. I was nice to use on my trip last week with the side glare being eliminated.

Works ok , not a perfect fit.

Package to hold the attachment clips was cut open and the clips were loose in the box. The box had been crushed and the clips could have fallen out of the opening from the crushed end. Will see if this item works as described. UPDATE: There is no way to lock the clips in place or to adjust the pesssure to hold the shad on the GPS While driving the shade will slide off the GPS and it sets low blocking the screen.

Had some doubts about shade staying in place; brackets seemed flimsy, after getting shade in place all seems good. Have not had GPS on the road as of yet, now only time will tell. It definitely reduces glare on screen and improves readability.

I ordered the wrong size so returned for this large one. Was surprised and now unhappy that it doesn't have the elastic bands to hold on. You have to insert the plastic thingy's in the back and they don't lock in. They wiggle around making it difficult to put on the GPS. We move it off the dash when its sunny so constantly have to readjust it to fit on the screen. It also covers parts of the screen that show time, vehicle etc. Reduces glare somewhat so it works for purpose purchased.
