I bought this to help me with low platelets levels during chemo. The taste is awful. But seems to be effective as my levels are much better. I make the tea and add it to v8 fusion energy drink. Masks the taste. I make this every other day. Cheers!

So. . . The taste makes me want to throw up, BUT. . We all know, should at least, know that things that are good for you don't usually taste very good so that's my only complaint for now. I got this for medicinal purposes; low platelets. So I want to see if this really works, I've been taking it for almost a week now. My case is severe, I was 16,000 when we last checked while I was in the hospital. So if this works for me, then you'll know it'll definitely work for you. So as I get my blood levels checked, I'll update this review. Also, this tea helps with indigestion as well. Acid reflux, gut issues. It's helped with that almost immediately. And beware... It may make you need to pee quite a bit since it is a diuretic. Anywhoozle, I'll be back with an update.

This tea is very bitter. At first I left it steep too long but even when I steep as recommended, it still has an awful bitter taste. My husband is trying to increase his platelet count. Only after a few days (once a day), we did see an increase. He's going to go two cups a day and see if that works better. He has blood work weekly so we should be able to see a trend after a few weeks. (Note: after a few days counts went from 50K to 54K.). Will update again after another week. Update: Week 2: After a full week (once a day), counts increased from 54K to 66K. This week we are trying twice a day. Update: Week 4-5: Count went from 54K to 66K to 75K to now at 90K. This tea continues to work well. My husband has found a way to sweeten it to his liking. Im glad i found it.

This is the nastiest crap I have ever tasted in my life! Waste of money because it contains a natural latex so if you're allergic to latex don't buy it!
