these are suppose to be men shorts but they had no fly

They have downgraded their boxer briefs significantly over the last 3 years. Used to love fruit of loom boxer briefs (breathable) but they are much cheaper now. Less waist band. Shorter. Fabric less soft. Avoid.

I was disappointed with the look of these. They are for my son, and I will have to wash them before he wears them, but they look cheap, the fabric seems really thin and the elastic feels stiff. I sure hope it softens up in the wash. I also noticed there is a nylon lining in the fly area of these otherwise cotton briefs, which I did not expect. I am feeling very dubious and hope my son will be able to wear them.
