This is a valuable resource for first-time, female, solo travellers. I appreciate the tips provided by the author and I love her natural and friendly tone of her writing. I also love her personal anecdotes in each chapter. Hilarious! The only reason I took off a star was for the minor spelling/grammatical errors throughout.

I have been a solo travel various times in my life. However the past decade has required most of my time spent near family. I am ready to adventure out again and was looking for some encouragement. This book delivers big time. I now have great tips and even better I have resources that will help me feel prepared when I head out. So glad I bought this book.

I liked the stories and it helped to raise my confidence for traveling solo. Not a whole lot of practical advice but find a book about a specific place you’re going if that’s what you’re looking for.

Good tips but short read. Some is just common sense but some is very good advice for new travelers.
