My laptop needed a new power supply, (Battery charger), The original last 15 month. Didn't want to spend the big bucks for the direct HP replacement. This fits the bill, all the specs are the same, part numbers, they have listed say it will work. Plus it has a little green power light that shows its on, (hard to see depending on the angle), that the original didn't have. Only thing left is the reliability, time will tell on that aspect of it,

My laptop cord bit then dust pretty quickly after purchasing my laptop. We held it together for a while with some electric tape, but eventually it just wouldn't work at all anymore. We ordered this one because it was a good price and said it was compatible. It works very well and has held up much better than the name brand cord my laptop originally came with. It' sturdy, durable, affordable, and works as expected. It travels nicely and even has a velcro piece that you can use to wrap around the cord and keep it organized neatly when traveling. Overall we are really happy with this item and I'd definitely recommend it to others looking for a replacement cord.

The original charger for my HP notebook became unreliable and would only charge the computer on its own whim when the cord was oriented a certain way. I ordered this product as a replacement, and it works perfectly fine, confirming that the issue was with the previous charger. The quality of the charger's construction is high for the price and the cord is much longer than the one that originally came with the laptop, which is very convenient. Overall, despite being a replacement cord, I would have to say it is superior to the one that came with the laptop in about every way.

Don’t know about it’s durability yet, but it works fine. A few feet longer than the original, so that’s nice. The description seems designed to let you think it’s made in the U.S.A. if you’d like. It’s not. But it looks like a good product at a good price.

Bought this to replace the original after it got chewed up. My laptop battery gets charged and that's all I wanted out of it so it's safe to say it works. Also good to note that the box part of the charger does not get warm and no sparks come out when it gets plugged in so I am going to assume that it is safe to use. Have had it for a while now and can confirm this is a worthy purchase if such an item is needed.

I purchased this to replace the original cord for my HP laptop. My puppy chewed it. This has come in and saved the day. Because I didn’t need the entire cord, the length works well for me. I do think if I had to use the entire cord, it would be a little shorter than the original and I would have to use an extension cord for the outlet from my desk. All in all, great buy and it was promptly shipped and received.
