I already have 2 of the 300 model levoit purifiers and a smaller one as well. I love them so much I decided to get a larger one for our main living area that can be put up against a wall rather than out in the open with all sides exposed for air flow. We have a cat and a dog & after just 1 week I opened the front to check the prefilter and it clearly was doing its job because it already showed some buildup & needed to be vacuumed off. It stays blue unless I have been cooking on the stove. It is quiet & goes unnoticed—just a slight sound of air blowing. The front cover feels a little flimsy but I’m careful with it & love the machine. The carbon prefilter is an added plus on this model, as is the front only intake. I Highly recommend this purifier and find it worth the extra money for my larger living area.

*UPDATE* After using it for some time, I’ve come to conclusion that it does way more for dust particles in the air than for banishing odors. This machine was a lifesaver during our whole house unexpected repipe. It’s a brand new machine, in a brand new townhome, but boy after the construction zone we were holed up in, the entire filter was covered in a thick layer of dust. If we didn't have this thing constantly running, we’d be in big trouble! I feel because this was on, construction dust barely had a chance to settle on uncovered furniture. Still only giving 4 stars because it does not help with fighting odors (esp from cat litter boxes) at all. — Big, loud, took forever to ship, useless piece of machine. Unsure what the hype is or I was sent a defect because it does do a single thing. I actually sneezed when I turned it on. It had its big shining moment the following morning because my cats used the restroom and it left such a foul odor throughout my entire home. This thing sits not even 10ft away from the litter box and the smell is as prominent as ever. I didn’t believe it’s “auto” setting so I actually left it on fan speed 3 overnight. It’s a piece of junk. I’m returning for the air purifier my mother has which is way more intuitive and sensitive to changes in smells in the air.

ABSOLUTELY LOVE our Levoit Air Purifier! The size is wonderful as I prefer an Air Purifier that can back up to a wall and yet is able to clean the air easily. The top lighted display changes as to the quality of the air, so by taking a quick look you can easily determine if you need to up the fan for cleaning. Not an obnoxious about of noise, in fact it makes less noise than a fan, so your sleep quality is much better. Although this unit is Wi-Fi compatible, I haven't used that feature. I'm so glad we have this in our home. Highly recommend this product.

Just what I needed. I have a small house and a black lab that sheds a lot. Works great took a couple weeks but now the sheading is much less noticed. all houses with pets should have one or two of these. The filter is easy to remove and clean. Very quite have to be right near it to hear it.

I am so happy that I purchased this air purifier. It make the home smell clean 😊
