Apply after mowing and water the granules. Follow the directions on the bag.
Works great on several types of fungus that attacked my bluegrass lawn. I had four types of fungus infections this past summer and was ready to let my grass go and get artificial turf. I sent photos to a lawn service and they recommended Heritage G. Two applications 30 days apart and all is well. I’m ready for next season with 10 lbs in the bag.

Buyer needs to be educated on what you need before ordering
This is a good product even though I was leaning towards Headway G which is made by the same manufacturer but contains one more ingredient which may not be required by all that need to apply one of these products. This company shipped to me the Heritage G product faster and cheaper than any other company online or locally and did so in less than 7 days, even though that was the target. I will recommend that when you need to cancel an order or get more information on a product go directly to this company and don't count on Amazon to get you any answer to any question or taking any action. But keep in mind that these two products look alike so research the difference.

wow, this stuff really works
Every year we have the same problem with our yard and I even started pre-emergent with Scotts disease X. It just doesn't work. I've tried the liquid and granules and this year even started months before - still we got lawn fungus that spread throughout the yard. Then we tried this product and WOW, what a difference. It cleared up in a couple of weeks with just one application.

Good & Economical
It does what it's suppose to do. This is one that I rotate as you don't want fungus to get fixed on any particular type.

Highly effective against lawn diseases if applied early and often enough.
Azoxystrobin is the main chemical in Heritage-G and is a systemic fungicide used in lawncare maintenance to protect grass plants from various fungal diseases. Brown patch is a common condition and this product works well in treating it. Once a lawn has fungus issues, it is difficult to eradicate compeltely but fairly easy to treat seasonally. Azoxystrobin is absorbed into the plant and is one of several effective weapons in battling lawn diseases. Another treatment option is Propiconazole. Most fungal problems require several treatments throughout the growing season in order to be most effective. Alternating between Azoxystrobin and Propiconazole applications every three weeks when fungal conditions/lawn damage are evident is a proven strategy for success if applied early enough in the season. At the first sign of brown patch each year, I start my antifungal regimen. I alternate between applications of Azoxystrobin and Propiconazole EVERY THREE WEEKS until the lawn recovers. Again, liquid spray yields a faster result than granules. And always wear PPE (long pants, sleeves, mask, gloves and glasses). The "G" in Heritage-G stands for granular and the "L" version denotes liquid. Some experts consider the liquid treatment to be more immediately effective. Although an excellent fungal treatment, Azoxystrobin is toxic to birds and amphibious life. As with any chemical treatment, be sure to read the precautions and wear appropriate protections, including gloves and safety glasses. I have found Heritage-G to be a great solution when I use it in conjunction with Propiconazole (Bayer BioAdvanced Fungus Control is one option). Treating every few weeks during hot, humid weather is an excellent strategy to combat most lawn diseases. Effectiveness = 5 stars but only one star due to toxicity to wildlife.

Far better than spray
The results of applying Heritage was far better than the sprays I had been trying for the last 3 months. I had a very bad case of root take all and ended up spreading peat moss on the yard which finally took care of it, but I will use Heritage bi-annually or more to make sure it stays under control. I would certainly recommend Heritage except for the most sever cases.

Brown spot be gone!!
Every year we loose a part of our yard to brown spot. We have tried several fungicides with no success. A landscaper friend told us about this product. Because it is fairly expensive I have used it sparingly. So far I have put down 2 applications, a month apart. All brown spot has cleared up except in the worst area. That area has improved about 75%. Next year I will start using this product in May before the brown spot starts!
