Way Better Than Average Sippy Cup
My daughter has had several types of straw cups and I diligently cleaned them and was horrified to find that mold had grown in the straws and spouts. When I was looking for a new type of cup, I bought this one because unlike the other ones, you can actually detach the spout from the top to clean it thoroughly. The cup is very easy to clean and the cup itself is dishwasher safe; to clean the cap, spout, and detachable straw, the pink silicone spout can be pulled down through the hole and all should be washed in hot, soapy water. I suggest using a straw brush to clean the spout and straw thoughly and because this is a bite valve spout and only stays open with pressure, I dry it on a bottle drying rack with the drying peg holding it open, so mold can't grow in it.The plastic bottle is heavy duty and has been dropped many times on hard flooring by my toddler and it never has chipped or cracked. These are leak proof so I never worry about it spilling in the diaper bag. As a germaphobe, I love that you can fold the spout down to prevent at least some germs from getting all over where my daughter drinks. It is hard for her to unfold the spout herself though and requires help. I also love the carrying handle because you can easily loop it around your finger or attach it to a diaper bag with a clip. The design is also very cute and hasn't scratched or peeled off with frequent washings. The nice part is even adults can use these on the go! These are definitely the best straw cups we've tried and the only ones we will use from now on!

depends on your kid...
This bottle is super cute and my son loves that it isn't so baby-ish like a regular sippy cup (he got the sports one). This could have been exactly what we needed. COULD. If your child is a chewer like mine he will quickly manage to move the straw out of position and then the thing will leak EVERYWHERE! If your child is the curious type (you know, has figured out how to open the remote, open a few child locks etc - or maybe that's just my guy?) he will also start playing around with the straw after you've fixed it and then it will leak all over the place. If you are lucky to have a child that just uses a cup to drink out of (I can't even imagine this as my child uses anything and everything as a chew toy or tries to take it apart) then this will be fine for you. If you're not sure I wouldn't put anything but water in there until you're sure ;)

Easy cleaning!
I have searched many bottles for my 4-year old. There are some good bottles out there, but cleaning has been a tough job. This bottle is so easy to clean! And it seems like no leak accidents so far. My younger one, who is 18-month old, had a very difficult time figuring out how to take a sip out of the bottle first, but he learned rather quickly from his older brother. The 4-year old loves his dino bottle, and the younger one loves his truck one. It worked out perfectly.

Horrible Design. Will leak. Do not recommend.
These are designed horribly. I ordered two of them and within 2 days, in both the bottles, the plastic stopper inside came lose when you close and open the spout, which results in water leaking all over the place. When you try to put it back in tight it only lasts about one or two openings of the spout before it occurs again. Would not recommend buying! Disappointed in the camelback brand.

Almost perfect!
These are great! My 14 month old loves them! I just wish the straw was a little bit longer.

BabyEarth sent me the wrong product
And I was unable to get an exchange because I was told it was out of stock. But it is still for sale on Amazon's website with no indication that it is out of stock. I will not purchase anything else from this seller and I advise others to do the same.

Not the same as the adult Camelbak. Works, but has serious design flaws for young kids.
My 1.5 yr. old loves my adult Camelbak. I was excited about getting this one, but discovered after use a changed design that makes it a terrible choice for young kids. The major design difference is that there are two sphincters on here. One is the bite valve at the top, and the second is where the inside straw section meets the top. I suspect they designed it this way as an additional preventative for leaks, but it has a nasty side effect. Water gets trapped in the bite valve because of the second sphincter, and the bite valve is softer and more importantly flexible than the adult version. This turns the bottle into a water or juice catapult! Yep, my 1.5 yr. old can flick juice 8-10 feet away by bending the bite valve back (which opens it) and letting it quickly return to its normal position.I since purchased a Grip-n-Gulp with high hopes. The suction required on this bottle is much harder, and as a result I am considering other options. One thing I am considering is to use this bottle again, but cut out that second internal sphincter.
