Crystal Aluminum-free Natural Deodorant, Lavender & White Tea, 2.5 Ounce

I only shave my armpits in the spring and summer when I have to wear short-sleeve blouses for work. On the off-season when I'm not shaving, the hair can cause me to have extra BO. For the seasons that I do shave, I needed something that wouldn't leave residue on my shirts, especially since I tend to wear darker colors. I wanted something with safe ingredients that actually met their claims of rubbing on clear and lasting 24 hours. I tried many different "organic" deodorants that didn't last more than a few hours and/or still left residue on my clothing. Raw Sugar, for example, totally sucked! So I went to Reddit for some natural-ish deodorant recommendations and that's where I heard about Crystal. I decided to give them a shot and now this is my go-to deodorant all year round. I apply it once in the morning before work and I'm good to go all day. It actually rubs on clear and leaves no residue on the pits of my shirts. The scent is mild and not at all overwhelming. I highly recommend this deodorant to any women who do not shave under their arms and need odor protection with safe ingredients. It also works well between the legs and the breasts for those really humid, sweaty days.

After my armpits detoxed from my aluminum antiperspirant this deodorant works great! Just have to get over that two week span of the body adjusting to not using antiperspirants. The only issue I have with this scent is it is extremely STRONG. I don’t smell the vanilla at all and it smells like I soaked in jasmine. The other scents I have used are much more pleasant.

I was using Old Spice Fiji deodorant for probably close to a decade. I found most women's deodorants seemed to last me 1 month and not do much when it came to smell (and the scents would start to smell weird when combined with my own BO). Old Spice would last me literally a year per stick which is amazing. However, I noticed that even after just sitting at my computer desk for a few hours, my armpits would start to smell again (the Fiji scent lasted but I could still smell my BO). Out of boredom and curiosity I decided to try some natural/aluminum-free deodorants purely because I heard people praise them (I personally don't purchase products based on what ingredients they do or don't have). This stuff is awesome!! The lavender scent is nice and subtle and most importantly lasts and doesn't get weirdly altered by my own inevitable BO. I feel like I only need to reapply every 8 hours instead of every 3-4 like with other deodorants. The stick itself seems to be lasting a while which is also nice. I have to say, I am a fan! I've already recommended this to some of my friends who were also using Old Spice for the same reasons.

I have used the roll on version of this in several scents, and loved them all. I've never had a strong BO smell, but liked the way the roll on lasted up to 2 days if needed. This stick smells good going on, but after less than half a day I can smell myself. My armpits smelled STRONGLY like onions. I've never experienced this before. At first I thought maybe I had just eaten something that temporarily changed my body chemistry, but this happens ONLY when, and EVERY time I use this solid deodorant. It's disgusting. I would be better off using no deodorant at all. I still love the liquid roll on version, and will continue to use it. I have sensitive underarm skin, and the roll on works great. But sadly, I bought a three pack of the solid, and it's all going to be trashed.

Really wanted to like this product. It worked for a couple hours after a shower. I wish I could find a natural deodorant that actually works and doesn’t cost an arm and a leg. No luck yet..so I’m sticking to aluminum deodorant for now and hoping it’s not that bad.. It worried me when I saw that study about the dead Alzheimer’s patients, how they all had very high levels of aluminum found in their brains.

I originally found this at tjmaxx and then couldn’t find it again but amazon is always there to make your dreams come true I’ve tired expensive natural brands but this is my go to I love the clean scent and keeps me smelling fresh I shower every other day and I apply this in the morning and again at night and I always smell fresh I’ve been using natural deodorants for years and this is my absolute fav you still wet of course but it not a gross smell honestly can’t smell anything throughout the day which I like so it doesn’t clash with my perfumes like other natural brands do.

I’ve been using Crystal I scented deodorants (stone and roll-on) with great success in that they block odor. But I swear a lot, so I found my arm pits very wet when using them. So I thought I’d hit a gold mine when I found this product which says it “absorbs” wetness. It does in fact keep me dryer, but I was musty after only half a day and no physical activity. I thought maybe it was in my head so I switched back to the Crystal roll-on and voila- no odor. I find it very strange, but unfortunately this particular product just doesn’t hit the mark. If I have to choose between being wet or being stinky (which apparently I do) I choose wet. I’ll continue to use my roll-on and keep paper towels nearby. Hopefully Crystal can get the formula right to keep both odor and wetness at bay.

I was smelling better when I was not using the product. It didn't help with anything.

Mine came and smelled good but when I was twisting the bottom it didn’t turn up
