Former Coca-Cola addict, current diabetic here. I searched far and wide for a reliable energy drink devoid of sugar and stumbled upon the Monster Ultra Line. I liked the grape the best initially, the orange is tolerable as long as it remains ice cold, and the rest is sorta so-so. When traveling, pretty much the only flavor you can rely on finding is the citrus. I accidently bought Blue Hawaiian a few months ago when I had thought I was buying the Blue and...WOW! This drink is incredible! All that is missing is the rum! Ideas that Amazon wants me to write about...hmmm...relaxation effect? Well, that's a dichotomy. The taste will relax you, but....it's an energy drink? The drink does ramp me up, but only from a slumber to just being approachable. The ease of use? Well, you shouldn't have more than three of these in a day or you'll exceed the maximum daily dosage of caffeine (400mg). One of these is around 90mg, which translates to about two cups of coffee. I pop one open at 5 a.m when I get up and I finish it around 10 a.m. Not sure about the calorie count, but hey...who really counts their calories anymore? Calorie count. Size? It comes in the 16 ounce, but I wish they would offer a 24 ounce size like they do the other flavors. Value for the money? Hey, it gets me moving in the morning and that's something I'll buy any day.

This is the best deal for the money we can find. My husband drinks one a day so subscribing to two cases a month saves us from having to constantly stop at the store. They don’t leak and he enjoys the flavor. He likes the amount of carbonation and the quality. We can tell what flavor based on the color of the can so we don’t get confused with other beverages.

Delicious, in my opinion. These are my favorite and they are a nice "treat" for myself on my long hitches.
