A very good product and ideal for little ones learning to swim

I tried this product with my son on a recent family holiday. He had been doing well in the water and was pretty confident. However this devise caused him to flip in the water and the way it was designed held him face down. I was right beside him supporting him but the few seconds it took to turn him right really scared him. I tried again a few days latter and the same thing happened. My sister-in-law had the same experience with her son. Both boys refused to go in the water for the rest of the holiday. The devise does not do what it says, is a poor design and is dangerous!! It should have no stars but the review format requires at least one star, hence the rating!

So happy to have found this. Its a absolute swim trainer as the name suggests. The kid is in exactly the swimming posture in this one unlike the other rings and all. Least chance of face going down inadvertently in case of a baby in a pool. First time my kid is independent in the pool on himself. He is learning the strokes and lessons of swimming with this around him, his fear of water is now love for water with this one. Thumbs up to the producer and Amazon for delivering this foreign origin product ( costing 10-12 k if shipped from there ) in India.

Sin duda este producto es una buen inversión. Para bebés hay múltiples alternativas, manguitos, chalecos, flotadores simples... y sin duda la mejor opción y más segura, tus propios brazos. Pero para un niño de 8 meses como es mi caso, que demanda cierta autonomía pero a la vez buscas seguridad este es el mejor sistema. Sin duda hay otros flotadores de bebé mucho más baratos, pero te obligan a ir cambiando cada verano según crece el niño. Este se adapta desde los 3 meses a los 4 años. Lo de los 3 meses me parece un poco arriesgado a no ser que el bebé sea grande, mi hijo tiene un percentil de peso muy bajo y sin duda con 3 meses no lo hubiese usado. Pero ahora con 8 meses y 7 kilos, le queda fenomenal y él encantado en la piscina. Mueve sus piernecitas libremente, chapotea con sus manitas y si le dejase, se quedaría dormido poniendo su cabeza en el flotador. El flotador viene en una caja con un libro de instrucciones sobre como utilizarlo e incluso como enseñar a nadar el niño con él puesto. El flotador se compone de 4 válvulas independientes, por lo que es bastante seguro en el caso de que se pinchase una. El plástico a simple vista es bastante bueno, yo espero que aguante varios veranos. Aún así siempre recordar que no hay que perder de vista al niño en ningún momento.

Seule bouée à ma connaissance pour les nourrissons qui leur permet d'être en position de nager, et non pas assis au milieu d'une sorte de radeau. Ma fille l'a utilisée à partir d'1 mois, en serrant bien le harnais. La seule concurrente valable que je connais est le gilet mousse avec brassards incorporés, mais je préfère celle-ci car le thorax est également au contact direct de l'eau, et le bébé peut aussi se reposer, se faire glisser tranquillement... Il est vrai que les plus sportifs parviennent à se retourner en se jetant en arrière, mais cela est assez rare, et ils arrêtent en général assez vite de le faire car ils se mettent en position désagréable. On a alors le temps de les remettre à l'endroit, à condition de rester à proximité, ce qui paraît évident. Je n'ai pour ma part jamais eu à tenir la bouée, et ma fille lui doit sa précocité en natation...

My 6 month old loves this! She is independent in the pool that is something I would give the world to see.Yes you read it right my 6 month old is INDEPENDENT IN THE POOL!!!! I suggest everyone starts early when it comes to their child, 6 months I believe is the right age; you can kiss water phobia goodbye!! This product is a little tough to infalte as their are too many places to blow air; but it is worth the effort; I would give it a 8/10 for design; One thing I did notice was that the top strap is very lose as the baby slips down a little...other than that this product is amazing; Happy Amazon India is bringing a lot of products available in Amazon USA (was about to ask my mom to carry it from the USA!! when she realized it is available in Amazon.in) Cheers Sandy
