for the price it,s a good quality kettle,looks smart and is sturdy,does,nt boil super fast but not slow either,if you want a reliable,affordable kettle that does not boil at mach 1 speed then i would recomend.

Not even had this for 5 weeks, and already it's no longer usable. Where you click it on to start boiling the kettle, there's a plastic burning smell coming from that area. On the inside where the water actually boils there's a burning smell left and makes all hot drinks taste fowl. So this is ok to use occasionally, as a 'backup kettle', but not constantly.

Worth the price but does take little long to heat up compared to other kettle

If it was still working 11 months later I’d give it 4.5 stars. Unfortunately it’s not. Normal function up it it breaking.

Nice electric kettle, boils fast and easy to use. Definitely a Good buy.

We had a glass kettle from a leading brand with fancy blue lighting. After the fancy lights failed and the glass got scratched with the sharp metal inside the badly designed lid and the handle became wobbly we decided to try this model as an alternative. Positives: * Seems very well made - nice solid feel to the handle. * Very light, strong stainless steel. * Good lid, hinged and clicks into place reassuringly. * Boils a mug full of water (300ml) in just over 1 minute. * Pours well. * No plastic in direct contact with the boiling water. * Great value. Might be negatives to some people: 1. Lower power than a fast boil. We wanted a lower power as we tend to boil smaller quantities and our electricity comes from a solar inverter so this is less of a load and places less strain on the system. The lower wattage means it will take twice as long as a 3kW kettle. A couple of mugs of water will be about two and a half minutes. 2. No way of seeing how full it is with lid closed. In the past we have found those plastic tubes that show the level of the water end up leaking. If you want to save time and money simply empty the cup / teapot of cold water into this kettle and you should be spot in with no fancy fill level tube to leak.

Works well

Works flawlessly, works like any other kettle. You've used one you've used them all. Excellent buy for the money. I snapped it up for €10 when it was on sale. One thing I noticed, it doesn't have a water level gauge like a vast majority of other kettles but it works flawlessly.

Pay 5 more bucks and get the better one. This one is not too bad, it works but cheap quality and slow a bit.

It died after 2 months. Amazon were great. Got a refund
