I bought this chain because it was advertised as solid 925 sterling silver, made in Italy. After about a year of light use, it has developed a copper color and is attracted to a magnet – both clear signs that this is not real sterling silver.Authentic 925 silver does not change color to copper and is not magnetic. This suggests that the chain is either silver-plated or made from a different base metal entirely. Very disappointing, as I trusted the description and expected much higher quality.This product is misleading, and I feel deceived.Do not recommend if you’re looking for real silver jewelry.

I got this as a gift. This is a beautiful and durable chain. It has not tarnished or made his skin green and has been wearing it for months now. It could be a little longer but that’s just because I eyeballed the measurements of the one I picked out when looking at the reviews and photos provided.
