Great Product, Bad Reviews Don't Understand the Product's Purpose
So to start, these meals are fantastic if you want to eat good, high quality, nutritional meals. It is not loaded with salt and sugar like everything the modern palette is used to. This means that it may taste bland at first, although not only will your palette adjust over time, but this food exists for people trying to find alternatives to the sodium filled modern foods. This could be for health reasons or personal preference. If you are buying this because you like cajun pasta, you are buying it for the wrong reason. The purpose of the product is to provide affordable, healthy meals for people. This means that it won't be as salty as the cajun foods you're used to, but it will also be significantly healthier. The dieticians I've seen look at this product all unanimously said that this food is quite phenomenal for people looking to have a properly nutritious meal. This product being so convenient to bring places makes it a real life saver for people that work all day and want to eat food that isn't terrible for them.

AWFUL! The Bad Reviews are True - Don't Buy this "Food"!
I tried the Cajun Pasta. Don't know if the others flavors are the same. Nothing in this "food" resembles pasta and the pictures are totally misleading. It looks like dog food, and the smell isn't far off that. I really wanted this to taste good due to the nature of the meal: plant based, easy to prepare, packed with vitamins. The chalk taste is awful. Three bites in and I was done. Had to brush my teeth to get rid of it. Had I not seen similar reviews, I'd have thought I just got a bad batch. Should have listened! I feel ripped off. Well, I was. To add insult to injury, you cannot return it. So the rest (6 more) are just gonna sit in my pantry in case there's an apocalypse and I'm lucky enough to find some hot water...

Convenient and Tasty
I really like these Huel instant cups. They are 400 calories, so a bit high if you're on calorie restriction, but the macros are decent, and they're filling. Super convenient - you can microwave or use boiling water. The protein sources aren't the best (pea/fava bean), but I can supplement higher quality protein elsewhere. I've tried a few flavors, and Korean BBQ isn't my favorite, but I would buy it again (just a little boring). The fava bean "chicken" pieces are a great addition for texture, and with a little hot sauce it tastes pretty good. Quite expensive unless you can find a good deal.

Not worth the increased cost
For a long time these were only $30 and at that price they are absolutely worth it. Perfect for daily lunch in the office or at home. The flavor was decent and it cooks fast. At $50 these are definitely not worth it, there are more affordable options out there.

The taste won't excite you for the next time this is in your pack.
I wanted to give it 3 stars because of the price point, but the taste was still in my mouth. I've eaten a few of the big names in freeze dried food, because they're a treat when youre in the field and gives MREs (military). I gave Huel two chances, and even tried more water on the second chance because it tasted like chalk. The additional water helped, but not enough to ever want to trynit again. I have a few friends that I call "garbage disposals" because they dont care how things taste, this would be for them.

Hot garbage
I have never paid so much for hot garbage. Absolutely disgusting. It heats up to mush, tastes absolutely powdery diabolical nastiness. I would eat so many things before ever eating this. Quality is bad. Texture is terrible. It’s expensive garbage. Do not buy.

I like it, healthier than ramen or other junk food!
I'm giving these 5 stars because they are a good option if you're looking for healthier meals and it's very easy to make. I added water and stirred it up a bit before microwaving to ensure everything was properly suspended in the water, past that following the directions had great results. As far as taste, if you dislike peas you probably won't like this very much as you can taste the pea protein. For me, this was actually pretty good, it's got a bit of kick to it and I like peas so that was fine. Texture was pretty good as well to me; the water and seasoning thickens into a sauce and the noodles were soft but not mushy. I'm not sure what the bigger chunks are, I believe it's the pea and faba bean textured protein, but they didn't really add much of a texture to this and did not bother me. Overall, while I wouldn't eat this for every meal, I like to have it as an option, I likely don't get all the vitamins and minerals I need and imagine this is a better way of getting important nutrients vs multivitamins.
