Where everyone who complains about capacity it wrong.
I am really enjoying this tea pot, and was slightly disappointed at first by the upper chamber capacity. However, in the east, they drink smaller cups of tea, so I understand why the capacity is smaller than we typically desire in the west. That’s when I realized the solution is drop dead simple. Fill the upper chamber with your desired tea (add a bit more to make a more concentrated tea) while getting the water ready. Flip the top over so that the metal side is facing up. Then rest the upper chamber on there. When the water is ready, pour a few ounces in the lower chamber, put the upper chamber with tea in place, make sure the switch is in the upper chamber position, and then fill the upper chamber with water. Place the cap on top, steep the tea for your desired length, flip the switch to make the tea move from the upper chamber to the lower chamber, pour, and enjoy a larger cup. Alternatively, you can brew a stronger tea, pour it into your cup, and then pour the desired additional water in the cup to make the portion you want. Either way, it’s not rocket science, and I’m sure you can enjoy this pot in the same way I do (I make 10-12oz). It’s a wonderful invention, and I enjoy mine every day.

Very Cool
This is a great solution. It is very lightweight and the perfect solution for brewing a good cup of tea. It took me a minute to figure out exactly how it works, but I really love it. I am replacing a previous solution that also worked well, but was made out of plastic. This is metal, wood, and glass, and will last forever if treated right. It also won't be leeching harmful chemicals into each cup of tea! Overall, it is very functional and a great value for the money.

Cute but not highly functional
My comments reflect similar comments about the magnet. It's cute but not highly functional. Not a deal breaker but I'm sure there's a more functional design out there. Tea tends to clog up strainer because the hole is too small. You'll end up wiggling and shaking the tea pot. I would suggest a bigger size strainer and a better release mechanism.

Awesome
This is awesome. I like the fact that you can let the tea brew before it runs down to the bottom. Easy to clean the qualities. Very nice. The size is perfect. Price is just right.

Sleak tea strainer but has some issues
I am updating my original review because I did try running regular water through the strainer and it came out just fine. Apparently this strainer does not do well with finely ground tea. The tea I used was a mixture of larger leaves but also some finer particles and these fine particles seem to have clogged the filter strainer resulting in the slowest drip possible. So as long as you are using larger loose leaf tea this tea pot should be fine. Just know that you may have to brew twice to get a larger cup of tea. Original review: I was excited to get this because I have lost all my loose tea strainers and haven’t brewed any in ages. This looked really sleek and stylish and I thought it was going to be the answer to my tea prayers. I don’t know if I got a broken one or this thing just hates the tea I decided to brew but I have been waiting for over 20 minutes for the tea to drip down to the reservoir and there is still half to go. Feels like a cruel joke to have to wait this long for a tiny cup of tea. Sharing a video so you can see my slow motion agony. The idea of this pot is cool although I didn’t quite understand it from the included directions, I had to go look at similar pots on Amazon to understand the mechanization. You fill the top with loose leaf tea and hot water, steep and release the magnet so the water can strain from the tea. In practice it’s not working for me. Not worth $40 IMO.
