Great drone for someone with technical skills.
This drone performs amazing once pid tuned a bit more, I love the high kv motors and side plates. It is very durable except for the motor shafts which I guess is where the "E" in the Speedy-e pro motors comes in because they do not appear to be titanium shafts but rather aluminum and are extremely brittle I've never seen 5mm motor shafts shear off the same way on any other brand of motor they seem to just snap on impacts vs bend. They provide a 3D print to use sma antennas but don't make it the default set up. It should be, I understand where they are coming from because the air unit comes stock with ipex antennas they don't want to just waste and throw those away but the drone is so much more durable with sma vs the stock ipex that will get ripped out and pulled on very quickly after a few crashes risking damage to the very fragile air unit antenna solder pads. I've purchased 3 of these in squashed x and the worst issue I had so far was getting one with a defective DJI Air Unit. As for value this same bnf and others like it would have been worth $350 in early 2025 so I don't see the almost doubling in price for the same product just to offset tarrifs as good value. Not their fault. I don't think it needs to be said but just in case. I wouldn't recommend purchasing unless you have at least basic proficiency in repair and soldering and betaflight. This thing WILL break arms, shafts, antennas and burn up motors. If you can't get parts and fix those type of issues yourself then it will be a huge headache and you'll have anxiety flying it. Also if should be noted if you are a normie that the DJI 04 pro VTx and camera on this thing is no longer in stock in the U.S. market and will be next to impossible to find a replacement for if something goes wrong or you break a lens. Also it seems to have gotten harder to find these speedy motors in stock too.

Awesome BNF Drone capable of 6S, O4 Pro, TBS ready to rock out of the box...
This is a fantastic BNF drone. I have been building FPV drones for over 10 years...back when we had the KK board with POT switch PID tuning. I wanted something that would rip out of the box, and this thing checks all the boxes. Admittedly, I bought it because it is getting increasingly difficult to find DJI O4 Pro units in stock in the US due to tariffs and DJI's stop order on shipping items to the US. For the price and the components that are included in this build, it's a no brainer. The O4 Pro costs half of what this drone costs anyways. It's a ton of fun. The initial setup was a piece of cake, from binding the included TBS Crossfire receiver, to binding the O4 Pro unit. The O4 was already activated from the factory, so no need to do that step. The arms are plenty thick for bashing, the weight is typical for a 5 inch drone. Punchouts on 6S are stable and insanely fast. Video quality is obviously top notch as well. THE ONLY THING I would recommend doing, is shortening the battery leads coming from the drone. They are far too long, and it was only a matter of time before they got sucked into the prop and were damaged. I was able to shorten the lead drastically, which allows for much safer usage of lipos. It would have been awesome if GEPRC added a XT60 holder that was built flush into the frame like many new frame designs offer.

GEPRC is my go to for pre-built drones.
Great drone, I own 5 GEPRC drones and build my own. Used the Vapor for filming an outdoor craft festival and pretty much everyone who saw it thought it was awesome. Why buy 5 drones when you can build your own? Because I live in the US and needed more o4 Pros in mid-late 2025. I bought GEPRC because they are great build quality and I would be willing to fly them if all my custom drones failed, or if I didnt want to risk custom drones in sketchy situations, or if local clients dont know anything about drones and you want to offer more reassurance by telling them you will use a pre-built.

Awesome
Haven’t had a chance to fly it yet (waiting on goggles) but the build quality is exceptional. Definitely doesn’t feel cheap and I’m excited to fly it. I’ve only heard good things about it and ultimately why I purchased it

First FPV Drone After Simulator Practice (~60hr)
This thing blew me away. This is my first fpv drone, and I maybe should have started with a 2s whoop first, but I don’t regret this purchase. This drone is powerful and intimidating, so if you’re new like me, don’t try to fly it in your 2 acre back yard or anywhere there might be people or cars. A empty baseball or soccer field is a good spot to try this out. I was drawn to the fact that I could fly this out of the box, but there’s more to it than that. Look up how to set this up in betafpv and get a feel for the software. Setting up controls for the first time can be a little tricky, but it should all make sense after watching a few tutorials. It’s mandatory to configure the GPS failsafe. I’m certain you will take many ambitious longer range flights with this drone and you will really want the added security of a functioning GPS rescue for any loss of signal scenario. Set it up and test it, it’s well worth it. Due to crashing- I have had to replace the xt60 battery plug, several propellers, a few antennas, and the propeller nuts. I went to the hardware store and got nuts with lock washers to go on the propellers, and haven’t had any issues with those coming off since. They seemed to pop off fairly easily for me. The antennas tend to rip off and disappear fairly often on crashes. The drone itself can take a beating. I’m honestly shocked I haven’t damaged the camera or frame yet. The camera quality is as good as it gets for fpv. You won’t need a GoPro with the 04 unless you want sound. I might throw on a wireless mic for sound because it is really nice to have that to go with the nice videos it takes. The DJI system has great range, and it’s very easy to configure the settings in the goggles. I’ve been able to fly quite far with very few connection issues, but I would like to note that trees are very good at blocking the signal so be aware of that. I haven’t encountered any functional hiccups with this drone yet. It turns on, beeps when it gets satellites, and it flies as it should, every time.
