These are hard. Much harder than normal "American" sugar cubes. They are also slower dissolving than "regular" sugar cubes. However, the flavor and price are great!

Was served these at the Ritz Carlton with my coffee and fell in love. Had to have them for home too.

Some questioned the 1lb 10 oz description on front. Well, this box is heavy! I weighed it on my food scale, and comes to 1lb 11.5 ounces, box says 1 lb, 10.5 oz. , and you get 2 of these. I think it provides a richer sweetness without all the stripping, bleaching and processing. I like to set it out on the table with a small spoon or tongs. Very happy with my purchase, and would buy again. Remember the question....'one lump or 2'? and they weren't talking about a fist fight!
