Fabulous scope for beginners! Does what I need it to do for spotting and photographing wildlife. Tripod needed to be replaced for one with a maneuverable ball for better motion and hold. Phone adapter works, but their are easier versions out there.

Customer service is non existent. The website sends you in circles and does not allow for contacting the customer service department. The mounting base on the tripod is weak and cannot support the weight of the scope. My scope fell off the tripod without any pressure or fault of my own. The tripod base is terrible and the scope will break off with no warning. The customer service has been awful so far and the manufacturer website is useless for warranty claims. Buyer beware. Thankfully,Amazon stepped up and resolved the issue with the product return.

The spotting scope works very well. The tripod is very lightly made. Because of the magnification of the spotting scope the shaky tripod makes it difficult to use. Recommend buying a quality tripod if you don't already own one.

Good clarity. The scope is overall excellent. I am very pleased with the scope. The tripod is not very strong or stable, but is adequate if the wind is not blowing. I found that not opening the bottom extenders on the legs and using the shaft to raise the scope worked better than using the tripod on the fully extended legs. The scope is easy to set up, east to focus, and easy to adjust power. I've got another tripod that I will use that is much better, but this is an excellent scope.
