Fancy Buying New DV2000 Laptop Battery for Hp Pavilion DV2100 DV2500 DV6000 DV6700 Series P/N's: 441425-001 446506-001 446507-001 HSTNN-DB42 452057-001 hstnn-c17c 417066-001 441611-001

Brought this Battery to replace my aging 11 year old HP Pavilion Laptop (See Specs below) original battery that had gotten to the point you were lucky if it stayed on 5 minutes if you unplugged it from the AC Adapter. While the Amazon description from the manufacturer did not specifically list this battery to work on this model laptop (which I can now say for certainty it does) it mention it did work with most of the HP Pavilion DV6000 line laptops so i decided to give it a try. Upon arrival the battery snapped right into place and was already at a 69% charge. PLEASE NOTE: since this is a extended battery there is a slight hump on the battery that will give your laptop a little bit of a raise on the backside unlike the original Manufacturer's battery that is flat (See Pictures below). PROS: - It work better than the original battery it replaced - works without the AC Adapter for approximately 90 minutes where is on its best day the original battery gave you maybe 45 minutes. CONS: - None at this point but this being a 3rd party battery the mileage may vary, I'll update this review if anything changes. Overall: If you need a replacement battery for this old of a laptop it does the job, I would recommend if in my situation. Worked perfectly, fit well, arrived quickly.

I have an old laptop that only worked when plugged in. I ordered a new battery. It fit perfect and looked exactly like the old one. I charged to 100 percent and put it away. A few days later I turned it on and started working. The battery lasted a few hours and went dead. I charged it to 100% and put it away for 2 weeks. I started it up and just let it sit. The wifi was off. The battery indicator said it was 80% charged. It held a charge for 3 to 3 1/2 hours. I don't know if it's good or bad for this laptop as I've been using it plugged in for years but it's better than it was before.

Originally bought in July. Liked form of battery (acts like a stand for laptop because of extra size) but it failed to hold charge after a month or so. Seller replaced it within 3 days of my complaint, no questions asked. New unit working well, already gives over 2 1/2 hours on full charge. Highly recommend produce and vendor.

overall good fit, unfortunately will not past 80% charge even after charging for 24 hrs with laptop off. It's a little better than 1st one that wouldn't go past 65-70% charge for the price I guess you can't complain too much

Battery charged pretty quickly. Like has been mentioned, it is akin to a piggy-back, but I like it as it puts a nice tilt to computer and....provides a roomier area for the computer to get more air for better cooling. Of course, I can't make any claims for references to long term quality, but it is doing well at this point.

Great battery, but lasts about 2 hours on my old laptop. I wish it could last longer.

How long the battery will last is still unknown. It functions very well now when it is brand new. How will it be in 3 or 4 years is the question.
