I am docking a star because the seams from the silicone mold were not trimmed, resulting in sloppy lines that could have been shaved off post production and really take away from my impression on its quality. The listing mentions the drops on the head from filling the mold, so I was prepared for that, but I wasn’t prepared for how many ugly seams are all over the body. I also think they could have done better with the painting— it’s only one solid color of pink on the mouth, nipples, and belly button that isn’t very realistic. Other silicone dolls have a wider variety of colors and details this one is lacking (no eyelashes or eyebrows or hair, no details on fingers or toes), and that’s what makes a great doll stand out against good dolls… and this is just a “good” doll. It is solid silicone and very pleasantly heavy and wobbly, and is anatomically correct (just FYI— I added a diaper for pictures so this review would be approved). The weight makes it feel very realistic and great to hold, I’m absolutely obsessed with that! The size is on the smaller size, necessitating preemie clothing (you can see in one of my pictures how large newborn clothing is on it). The accessories that come with it are not the best, however— the romper and blanket are both extremely cheap, but that’s fine unless you’re gifting it to someone who doesn’t have any other doll accessories, in which case I’d purchase some separately to go with it. With the price being slightly higher than other full silicone 16” dolls I deducted another star from it, especially considering there are cheaper ones with a better paint job out there.

When I first opened this silicone baby doll I thought the face and hands looked really sweet and the size felt perfect for little kids to hold. It has that soft squishy feel that makes it fun to cuddle and my daughter immediately wanted to wrap it in a blanket like it was a real newborn. The pictures online make it look heavier and more realistic so I was surprised at how lightweight it actually is once you hold it. The outfit is simple but cute and the doll photographs nicely which made my kids want to pose it in all sorts of pretend play moments around the house. After spending more time with it I noticed it does not have the fully realistic detailing that the listing photos make it look like it has. The body is not fully silicone and feels more like a mix of materials which makes it more flexible but also less lifelike. My son even pointed out that the arms and legs feel different from the head and said it felt more like a toy than a collectible baby doll. For the price I was expecting a bit more weight and detail because we have had realistic dolls before and this one definitely feels more on the toy side. Still my daughter carried it around during the day and rocked it like a little mommy which tells me it still works well for kids who love pretend play. Overall it is a cute and soft doll for younger children and it works nicely as a gift if the goal is just to have something cuddly and easy to hold. It is not as realistic as shown in the photos so if someone is expecting the full lifelike silicone feel this is not quite that. For playtime though it is gentle, lightweight and easy for small hands which makes it useful in our home with two kids who love taking turns caring for dolls. It is one of those items that is still sweet and enjoyable but not as upgraded as it appears online. This doll is so cute and adorable. It weighs around 6 pounds and feels super realistic and cuddly. It can take pacifiers. Preemie sized clothes fit perfectly on the 16 inch doll. Overall, I’m so happy I bought this!!
