They really work.
These Purina DentaLife dental chews. are a great treat for my grand dog. His teeth have no tartar or plaque on them. He loves to get one/day. The package is resealable so the chews stay fresh. The ingredients are okay and the chews are a nice size. I think they sit well in his stomach. Very easy to just grab one and he's very happy.

Doggy Pearly Whites
I've tried a number of different dental chews for my two golden retrievers but I believe all in all these seem to do the best job because of their design and my dogs think they're getting a treat they like the taste. I give them each one twice a day after their daily meals. This particular brand costs maybe a little more than some of the others but I honestly feel it does a better job. My two Goldens get a easy to digest calcium supplement daily as well, between that and this product everyday as a regimen, their teeth are strong, clean, and snow white at 8 years of age. And no, I do not hand brush my pups teeth, DentaLife twice daily and a calcium supplement do the job. Been giving them DentaLife and a calcium supplement since the age of 4 after trying some other brands.

Good dental treat
My puppy loves this dental treat. She is 31 pounds, I bought the large size and cut it to half, better price than the medium one. Not sue for the effect, but at least she likes brushing teeth now in order to get the treat

Seems to help breath. Dogs LOVE them. Not positinve if it helps dental health yet.
They seem to help breath and the dogs LOVE them. Don't know if it helps prevent black and tartar buildup, it didn't seem to help my small dog. But small dogs are also infamous for bad teeth. Lol

Functional and my dog loves them
These last my lab about 5-7 minutes and keep her breath and teeth clean.

For the price it works pretty well. I add some enzyme pet toothpaste to it to help out a little.
I've been working pretty hard on my Scottie's teeth. I made the mistake of feeding him soft dogfood for a while that he loved but gave him tarter pretty fast. Since starting this treat, I've noticed a significant difference in the tarter and bad breath. Just have to be consistent with the treats. I buy the larger size and break them in half, then kind of coat them with enzymic dog toothpaste. Makes it last longer The price is great and it works pretty well. I'll still probably get his teeth cleaned by a vet but it is ridiculously expensive. Won't ever use soft dog food again.
