Q: Is this $18 for one 25.6oz can of french roast? that's almost 3 times the price of w.mart, that's insane!

This is regarding the Half-Caff product: My last order was $7.42 for this size canister - now it's at $22.00 - TOTALLY INSANE!! We actually found it at our local supermarket for $8.00. I hope Amazon realizes this. Also, the other types of Maxwell House are all under $8.00 each but for some reason the Half-Caff is priced way too high. I think they are taking advantage of those people that cannot get out to do the grocery store and need to purchase on the internet.

Q: House blend and original roast... anyone know the difference or have a preference? more specific- what is the house blend? they both are med roast.

They're both really good, smooth coffees. I like mine with sugar, am out of the house blend so I can't try it with creamer but have recently tried original roast with creamer just for a change of pace and it's yummy. The house blend, if I can put it into words, has a bit more going on with the flavor, a bit more akin to the McCafe medium roast if you've ever had that. Original roast, while good to me and I have no problem drinking, is so smooth it doesn't have as much "bold" coffee flavor, which isn't necessarily a bad thing at all. Heck, it can even be preferred. They're both cheap enough to try them both out and see which you like better :) can't go wrong with either in my opinion

Q: What does "100% pure coffee" mean? I guess when manufacturers write this on a package it means it's 100% robusta, especially considering the price.

Pure coffee means no dyes no chemicals and the beans are grow in soil that is chemical free and water is pure in a climate that is good for coffee beans. Hope this helps

Q: Which is it, mild or medium? Up top it states mild but in description it says medium!

i would call it medium with a rich flavor, nice.
