Easy to use!
Great price for the amount. Perfect ingredient for bird feed, chicken feed, pig feed. Hasn’t gone bad and I’ve had it for months and add to supplement feed as needed. My chickens love the taste and size of the seeds!

Tufted Titmouse Approved
This is my first bird feeder, so I don't speak from a lot of experience, but here in North Georgia, the local flock of Tufted Titmice, Carolina Chickadees, White-Breasted Nuthatches and Brown Headed Nuthatches have enthusiastically endorced these sunflower seeds. There's also a Cardinal who stops by on occasion and I had a Pine Warbler pop in for a snack, too. I put up the feeder two months ago (mid-August) and tried mixed seed first, but the birds barely touched it except to pick out the sunflower seeds! I was glad to find this affordable bag on Amazon. It does have a few twigs mixed in, but I don't think it's a crazy amount and the birds don't seem to mind. After about 5 weeks with these sunflower seeds, the birds have definitely started eating more (I'd say I'm up to filling my small feeder 3/4 full for the week), and although I still have at least one more week left in the first bag, the second bag is on standby and looks to be the same quality. While I can't compare it to other brands, for the purpose of feeding some backyard birbs and borbs, this Novice Bird Nerd gives these seeds a 10/10!

The best black oil seeds I have found
I have a whole flock of house finches and a few chickadees who I feed year round. They eat a lot!! At least 10lbs per month. I live in Seattle and they are here through the winter. It is my opinion that these are some of the best quality in high fat content that they must have through the winter. The price is also good when you have to buy a lot. Please be aware of seeds that are not actually good black oil seeds. These would look a little striped instead of being basically solid black. I recently had a bad experience ordering some that were not what I would call actual or very good black oil sunflower seeds. I plan to stick with these for my very important little friends.
