A true functional work of art 💫
This still has been going non stop in my home, it's not only easy to use and beautiful but it also produces a delicious flavor. The instructions were helpful and I had an issue with the thermometer gauge at first noting that I couldn't get anything to run until it was over 200' f, however immediately the customer service team - notably Jerry - dispatched another one and it's heading my way as we speak. Definitely a great piece and I'm so very happy with this new family heirloom to add to my collection of stills. Thank you so much copperholic 🙏🎉

Well made and packaged. Very solid
The item arrived two days after ordering. It looks beautiful! It was very well packed and it arrived in perfect condition. I have not used it yet but it looks great, (except for the nut that attaches the thermometer which is rather bulky and does not fit with the elegant copper work) is very well made and feels solid. The parts fit together very snugly so I do not expect any leaks. I plan to use it to distill essential oils, so I was happy to see that I was able to fit a folding steam basket through the mouth of the pot. I can also confirm that the condenser does have an input and output port for the cooling water as well as a port for the dripping condensate.

Beautiful Craftsmanship
The worm or condenser coil could use another twist but works well. The end of the condenser coil also needs a 45 down turn ( I added one) Liquids like to travel back up the end. The condenser pot could be bigger. Yes you can put five gallons in the still but don't go past four for best results. This thing is awesome. I get so many comments on it. "Is that a....?" Yes it is. I use a flexible gun cleaning rod to clean the pipe.

Still works perfectly
Fits together nice with no leaks. Very easy to use. A few blemishes in copper. Thermostat stuck at 80 degrees during use. It is a cheap pos. I have contacted seller and received an email response within a couple of hours asking for my Amazon account number. No further communication. I think they are sending a new one but not positive. The cooling worm has 2 holes on top. 1 should be on bottom to continuously run water. Honestly I would give 5 stars if I didn’t have thermometer issues. It really is a nice looking piece. *update* thermometer replaced by seller really fast. Great customer service. I have used 8 times and works perfectly every time. Probably the best thing I have purchased on Amazon.

Not effective for distilling essential oils
This distiller does not have the needed parts to make essential oils. No steam basket, no oil/water separation parts. False description….should not promote it for essential oil distilling.

These look amazing but where the swan neck meets the condenser is not tight like 1/2in goin into 3/4in only reason for a 4 star

Great output that stinks and is bitter
I got my distiller today, washed it, and fired it up with mushrooms to make hydrosol. The output began within 2-3 hours and I was very pleased. I noticed an off putting smell as it heated up but didn't think anything about it until I tasted the hydrosol. It was very bitter and filled with a kind of scummy crud coming out of the distiller. I took the cooling pot off and realized the foul smell was from the cooling coil. After washing that out again I prepped it to cool the steam again. Before I put the cooling pot back on I captured moisture from the swan neck and found the hydrosol to be good tasting but still with a few little flakes. After putting the cooling pot back in place, the hydrosol was flowing nicely but, again, it was bitter and with crud. I'm at a loss what else I can do and have a report into to CopperHolic. I will update the review if we are able to satisfactorily resolve this. I'm upset as it has ruined a 5 gallon pot of mushroom I worked hard to gather. 😒
