Deeply engraved, really pretty. Looks and feels like silver and doesn't tarnish! I use it in my bathroom to hold my colognes. Really nice for the price.

The trays are as advertised, and come with a single page of instructions called a 'user manual' which is easy to read and makes sense. The main things from it to know are that: 1. The tray/s comes with an especially thin plastic coating to protect tray surface during shipping. Patience is required for its removal. 2. Hand wash with soft detergent and dry with towel to prevent water spots. Do not put in dishwasher. 3. Silver polish can be used if desired. As for what I received, one of the to trays has a 1" tarnish spot beneath the surface. Thankfully, it is only visible when help up to light at a certain angle, and it was easily wiped away. The other tray appears as pristine as possible. Also, I like the thickness of the trays. Not too flimsy or heavy. This is the second kind of tray purchased and it does make a dining room table look more decorative and, thus, nicer. The main drawback is that the listed manufacturer is Fermus, which is based in China, not a US company. Hence the 4 star rating.

I use this to serve finger foods when I have company over. It's on the smaller side, so useful for things like small cheese plates, smaller finger foods, etc. for smaller company. Wouldn't really be appropriate for a large party. It's steel/metal so looks and feels hefty and elegant.

Are they stainless steel? Could be - they’re not rusting yet; but they’re very lightweight. That said, they’re attractive enough for casual hosting. Perfect for carrying a couple cups of tea and cookies etc. Also nice for under trays for flower pots, candles and more! Quite versatile

I got this to have on hand for nicer, bigger family occasions and meals. It adds just enough extra fanciness to elevate a special occasion dinner. I have only washed it by hand as it instructed, so I don't know how it will hold up to many washes in a dishwasher. It's held up nicely through my uses.

It's not stainless steel. It's an alloy. The motifs look sharper in the picture but in real life they're dull. If they're were etched on stainless steel they would have been more pronounced. Definitely not as described.
