Surprisingly powerful for its size This tiny security camera works great and is very easy to hide. Setup was quick, WiFi connected without issues, and the video quality is solid for such a small device. Motion detection is accurate, and I like that it records both video and sound. Picture is definitely high def and sound is acceptable quality. The option to use a micro-SD card is a big plus if you want to avoid paying for their cloud service. Micro USB charging port. Overall, it does exactly what it’s supposed to do and feels well worth the price. I’d definitely recommend it. Nail clipper shown for scale.

Have the S01 single camera and am very happy with it. The little camera on the flex cable is very inconspicuous so easy to hide it. Easy to use on a Halloween prop to act as eyes to see what is going on live as well as recording it (replacing a large ¾ inch sided cube camera I currently have on the prop so should be much less conspicuous than that). Hopefully the camera and cable hold up ok over time. Video and audio quality is good. Live video has no delay to very little delay (guessing maybe 200 milliseconds at most) which I needed for my interactive use of the camera. And this is in AP connection mode or remote connection mode. While the camera does not have night vision it does pretty decent in low light conditions. The live audio, however, appears to be delayed by a second compared to the live video (as well as this way in the recorded video), but for my purposes it doesn't matter as I use a separate microphone to hear live audio, and can edit the recorded mp4 file to sync the video and audio. Easy to flip the view horizontally or vertically to accommodate the positioning of the camera itself. For recording have tried it with a 256GB SD card as well as recording videos directly on my smartphone and it worked fine in both cases. Have not tried cloud recording. Also was able to download these files and play them back on my computer although if you are going to skip/seek to a certain time on the playback you need the right playback application/program as some will not allow you to do this with the mp4 files the camera produces (i.e. not allow you to seek to a certain time location on the playback). The vendor recommended the KM application which did work for doing this. The MPC-HC program also worked as well to handle this seeking. My windows media player did not allow me to skip. The file size on the SD card were about 17 to 20MB for a 5 minute clip in normal video (not high definition) so can theoretically store 44 days worth of video (have not checked if loop recording actually works for overwriting older files but assume it does). Even if the file size is 4 times as large could still store at least 11 days of video before loop overwriting. When using the SD card you can either remove the card from the camera and connect to your computer via an SD card reader to download the files, or you can download the files wirelessly to your smartphone using the HomeEye app and then download them from the smartphone to your computer (either vie usb connector or emailing, google drive, google photos, etc). Files on the camera SD card can be played back on the Smartphone as well in the HomeEye app (wirelessly accesses the SD card in the camera to do this). Battery power does work but did not test for how long as I mainly use the usb cord to continuously power it. HomeEye app appears to work fine using this camera. I have an older cube camera that used HomeEye but it no longer allows me to record the videos file directly to the smartphone for that older camera when it used to be able to do this for some reason. Only tried the motion detection and alert capability part of the intelligent detection (have not tried Human detection). Motion detection (using medium sensitivity) seemed to work for the very brief time I tested it and gave notifications to the phone. Captured photos mostly showed the moving object using medium sensitivity but I imagine it would show more if I played around with the sensitivity. Not sure why the camera itself does not support a direct URL for accessing the video from the camera like web cams do as this would allow more flexibility in local recording (ftp, rtsp, cgi, etc) as well as motion detection and allow many more apps to be used to do this. Wireless connection in AP mode or remote mode worked fine for me. Still worked when at least 34 feet from the WIFI router thru walls and inside a closed garage (didn’t check any farther). All in all a good camera so far for the price.
