Son has long curly hair. This is perfect , defines his curls , keeps his hair from matting and smells good too. Keeps his hair soft and his hair isn't dry.

Doesn’t strip the hair. Cleans and feels moisturised. I was really happy with the texture and consistency and especially that it was drying. I didn’t even know shampoo felt drying until using this shampoo.

I tried this conditioner hoping it would give my curls more softness, definition, and manageability. It did some things decently — but it also had limits. Here’s my honest take. --- ✅ What I liked, what worked More moisture & softness — After washing and using this conditioner, my hair felt noticeably softer and easier to comb through. Especially helpful if hair felt dry before washing. The “no silicones / no sulphates + hydrating formula” of the full curl-care line is marketed to give curls hydration without heaviness. Better curl definition (in good conditions) — On some washes (especially when air-drying, not using heavy heat or rough towels), my curls had a smoother, defined shape rather than looking frizzy or tangled. Many reviewers with wavy/curly hair in the same range say the set helps “rehydrate curls and define them better.” Softer feel without silicones or heavy coating — Because it avoids heavy silicones/sulfates, hair doesn’t feel coated or weighed down — more natural, lighter after rinse. The brand claims a “vegan + silicone-free formula” meant to hydrate and define curls gently. Good value for money (for moderate hair needs) — For a budget conditioner, it delivers decent hydration and softness. If you don’t expect “salon-level repair,” it’s fairly acceptable. --- ⚠️ What disappointed me / What to watch out for Results depend heavily on hair type + routine — It worked better on days when hair was already somewhat healthy or only mildly dry. On heavily damaged hair, or hair that’s bleached/coloured, it felt too light — didn’t fix dryness or split ends. Many users online note that results vary depending on curl type and hair condition. Moisture or definition doesn’t always last long — On some days, curls felt nice right after wash — but by the next day or two (especially after sleep or humidity), some softness or definition faded, meaning maintenance (e.g. leave-ins, styling creams) is still needed. Not a “repair / strengthener” if hair is damaged — If hair is brittle, over-processed, or bleached, this won’t magically fix structure or split ends. It gives softness/moisture, but not deep repair. Possible weigh-down if over-applied or hair is fine — On days when I used more conditioner (or combined with heavy products), hair felt a bit heavier and less “bouncy.” For fine hair or light styles — lighter use works better.

Love this product this is my 3rd purchase works amazing for my wavy hair and for my daughter's curly hair. Doesn't go as greasy as fast and hydrated each individual curl, used along side the conditioner mask and curl spray.

I’ve been trying the Garnier Method for Curls Shampoo for a few weeks, and I’m really pleased with the results. It enhances my curls beautifully, giving them more shape and bounce. The scent is also a big plus—refreshing and pleasant without being too strong. The only downside is that it can leave my hair feeling a little dry unless I follow it with a rich conditioner or curl product. It’s probably best not to use it every day if your hair tends to be dry. Still, it’s a great option for curly hair that needs definition without heaviness.
