I don't do reviews ever but this alarm clock is so wonderful I'm making an exception. We don't even use the sound machine. The light by itself wakes us up gently without an obnoxious beeping or buzzing jolting us awake. You can set it to start getting light gradually for 5 to 30 minutes before it reaches full brightness and it turns off automatically after 30 minutes. If you rise at the same time every day you just set it and forget it. It was easy to set up and there are many options to choose from. We sleep in a pitch black room so it is a pleasure to be awakened by this awesome Sunrise light.

I used to own the product this is similar to (the original when it first came out) and it was great, but unfortunately developed a weird noise issue and died for no apparent reason. I did not want to spend hundreds to replace it, most definitely did not want a subscription, and truthfully I primarily use it for its white noise feature to sleep, only occasionally for alarms. I was pleasantly surprised by this clock. It feels very lightweight and somewhat cheap to handle but I didn’t see any defects and it looks expensive. Being lightweight is probably a pro for some. I personally find it way more attractive than the clock it replaced. The speakers are also surprisingly decent quality (I tried and returned another similar clock that sounded awful) and I love the white noise. I also love that I was able to completely turn off the clock screen at all times, and it is dimmable is you wish to have the time displayed at all times. And even if it dies a year in, considering the price, I’d still be satisfied with its performance.

Price: The price is good but not great. I purchased this item because my apartment complex has very bright lights in the courtyard and parking garage. This light beams into my apartment and I can never tell when it is day or night. Throws my whole internal clock off. Quality: This product does exactly what it says. I have noticed on several occasions that I am waking up when the light is a bit half way to full "sunrise" and not before. That is a good sign so far. The item has a very nice shape, the quality of the light is fantastic. It is not LED bright right in your eyes, it is much softer yellow but very bright and shaded. I chose the bird sound, and the quality of the speaker is absolutely fantastic. I don't notice hard looping, but the variety of the bird calls are average so it is hard to tell. Functionality: The item is very easy to setup. All button are pretty intuitive. You can adjust the clock brightness, the brightness of the "sun light", the volume of the alarm sound. The only issue I have is there are no options to set weekday and weekend schedules. I have to wake up on weekdays much earlier than I would on the weekend. I would love to just set a schedule where on the weekend the birds don't chirp. It is easy enough to just turn off the sound on a Friday, but I don't want to have to think about it.

This is a great sunrise alarm, especially for the price! Easy to use and doesn’t require an app. Looks great too! Only thing I wish I could snooze the sound while keeping the sunlight on. You just have to snooze both at the same time. I like the adjustable dimmer for the display as well. I would def recommend!

I have to get up early, in the dark, so I wanted to get a sunrise alarm, to wake up my body more easily. I tried two other sunrise alarms but had to return them. This one has a beautiful sunrise glow that adjusts over a timeframe of 5 minutes to 2 hours, depending on your preference. You can also add a wake-up alarm with natural sounds like birds, a flute, and more. The sunrise glow is a warm, enjoyable color, unlike some sunrise alarms with harsh white lights. This unit is very thoughtfully designed. I like the small footprint that doesn't take up much space. The round shape is aesthetically pleasing and reminds me of the rising sun. The clock is covered in fabric, so that the colors are muted, rather than a harsh glare on clear plastic. Both the light and the time display are dimmable. And I really love the simple, tactile buttons all across the top that are easy to find and differentiate in the dark. A bonus for me is the sound machine function, which helps to provide a wind-down routine before bed with various natural sounds or white noise. I can run the sounds manually or put them on a timer, so they turn off automatically. The ocean waves remind me of when I was a kid, going to the beach in the summer. There is also a nightlight function, which offers a wide range of solid colors or gradient/rainbow settings. I like using this while travelling to create mood lighting. The instructions were easy to follow and there is even a quick start card, for those who are visual learners. The unit is simple, elegant, lightweight, and even comes with a cloth bag to keep it clean and contained with its power charger. This is also convenient for travel. Suggestions for improvement: Make the sunrise setting available as a nightlight function, to simulate a sunset. An extra plug or two at the back of the unit for charging items would also be helpful. I'm really happy with this unit and waking up in the dark is so much better. Love all the features and it was well priced, so an excellent value.

Just splurge and get the more expensive brand. No Bluetooth functionality. Hard to set up. Sounds are not high quality
