Amazing chair and amazing customer service!
I previously had a Secret Lab chair, and after struggling with months of back pain from the chair, I decided to start looking into ergonomic chairs. When looking online for "good" ergonomic chair brands or recommendations, all I saw were Steelcase or Herman Miller, and anything else was "garbage". I decided to keep looking and do my own research and eventually landed on this one. Initially, I was worried it might not meet my expectations because of everything I had been seeing online about how if it wasn’t a huge, expensive name brand, it was no good. I went ahead and ordered it and was pleasantly surprised. The chair took very little effort to build and was able to do it by myself in less than an hour. Sitting on it for the first time, it felt comfortable and supportive. I knew it wouldn't cause the same back problems that my Secret Lab chair gave me. The adjustability is lovely. I(5’5”, 190 lb female) fit very well into this chair, and the headrest is quite comfortable. My only gripe is that the armrests don't move side to side, but most of all, the firmness of the armrests. They are very hard and can get uncomfortable quickly, but not a huge deal since I have the armrests up most of the time. I had the opportunity to keep a Herman Miller Aeron chair, but since I only sit 2-4 hours maximum at my desk each day and preferred the adjustability of this chair, I sold the Aeron, as well as the Secret Lab, and kept this chair. I can't judge it for longevity yet but am hopeful it'll last the next 5 years or so. Lastly, customer service is excellent! I initially had issues with the gas lift of the chair, so I contacted them, and they promptly sent me a replacement gas lift as well as a lumbar support pillow. They are very kind and sent instructions on how to replace the gas lift. Winnie and Cayla have been very helpful. Thank you. TLDR: For the price It's a great chair and superb customer service!! Just buy it!!

Great chair!
I bought this based on the great reviews and they were correct! I have had the chair for almost a month and it is very comfortable. Assembly was easy, and the parts were very clearly labeled which made things even faster. I did reach out to them about the roller blade style wheels and lumbar support. Carol was excellent and provided me with both as a courtesy (usually you can only choose one). The wheels are awesome and make the chair glide better on my floor. The lumbar support was a little big for me but I will keep it and try it again in the future. Overall I would recommend this chair! It looks very nice in my office. It is very comfortable and very adjustable to fit each person. And the price was great compared to some similiar chairs on the market.

Highly recommend
Great chair, and super easy to assemble. I highly recommend this chair. The manufacturer labelled every screw, so there was no confusion about which screw to use in any step. They included spares, because sometimes screws roll away and get lost. There are many links to videos. (Although I didn't use them and can't vouch for them, I would be surprised if the videos were less than helpful.) Short of coming to my house and assembling the chair for me, they did everything possible to make it easy. The chair is both sturdy and comfortable. It's easy to adjust. It doesn't feel fragile, like some other office chairs I have used in the past. All in all, I would recommend this chair to anybody looking for an office chair.

Best office chair for my jacked up back
I had to write a review after spending so much on this chair. I've never bought one this expensive before, and the reviews had me ready to open my wallet. So I'm here to join the chorus to tip you over the edge if you're wavering. First things first: The Cons. At 5'4", I'm the shortest person who should buy this chair. With the arms completely down and the seat completely down, it's fine, but I wouldn't mind an extra 1/2" lower on either. If you're shorter than 5'4" your feet won't touch the floor. I won't be able to replace the wheels with my skate casters, but oh well. FYI, it also wouldn't be great for someone with a big booty, but since my junk is NOT in my trunk, it works great for me. The arm adjustments could be more elaborate. They do go up and down on an angle that brings them further forward as they go up. For this money, I would have liked to be able to flip them up out of the way and/or turn them in and out. And they're attached to the seat back, so when the back reclines, the armrests go up. The directions seemed to miss a printing pass, as I could see all the words and the arrows supposedly pointing at a picture of the chair, but the chair wasn't there. Weird, but the assembly is intuitive enough that if you've ever put together furniture that comes in a box, you'll be fine. Now for the good stuff: The Pros Y'all, I can't express to you how jacked up my back is. I've got more hardware in my back than Home Depot, and there are several more disks ready to blow. I'm currently in PT for sciatica, trying to avoid another surgery. So believe me when I tell you my back is jacked up. Thus the expensive chair. I just can't function in a cheap office chair and laying back in my bed on Zoom calls isn't very professional. After reading all the reviews and looking up lists of The 10 Best Office Chairs for Jacked Up Backs, I settled on this one. Currently I can't sit in any chair without excruciating pain after 5 min or less, and when I get up I can't walk for a while. But THIS chair, well I've been sitting in it for over half an hour watching football (ya know, to test it out) and when I got up...I could walk! What magic is this!? I think I found my new easy chair! Just kidding. This isn't what I would call a "cozy" chair, though it is very comfortable for working at a desk. Less exciting pros include the simple-to-operate mechanisms, the reclining feature (including being able to hold it in 2 different reclining positions), and the comfortable seat. I had no idea a mesh seat could be so comfortable. This thing is very sturdy, and seems to be built to last, which is good because I can't afford to buy one of these every year. It was also very easy to put together myself, although another pair of arms would have been welcome when attaching the seat to the seat back. If your back is jacked up and you work at a desk, this chair is worth the money.

The BEST SERVICE EVER! Updated review…you NEED this chair!
UPDATE! The best customer service I’ve had in years has earned 5 ⭐️, and I’d give more if I could! Customer Service messaged me in response to my concerns and offered to send modification parts to lower the chair and the arm rests, extend the seat depth and provide better lumbar support - at no charge. The shipment arrived quickly and they even included a how-to video plus high quality tools to aid in assembly. It took ~20 minutes and the chair is PERFECT. I’m now going to purchase a second chair and see what else they have to offer. Customer for life - THANK YOU!!! Original review: I’ve been ‘test driving’ the chair since 12/22/25. I’m 5’7” and low-ave weight. Pros: Easy to assemble, quality feel, no squeaks, and somewhat comfortable. Love the color! Cons: The arms are too tall, even in their lowest position and do not turn in/out. The arms hit my standard height desk - not above or below - very annoying. Seat at its lowest setting is still high, also annoying. If the arms & seat could go 1 click further down it would be great. Seat depth is a bit short too…not comfortable unless my feet are up on an ottoman/stool. Lumbar support ok but not great, and not adjustable. Good if I sit stock-straight in the chair. The headrest is useless until you’re reclined as lumbar arc makes it tough to reach in an upright position. Unless I can figure out mods I’ll have to add it to my office chair graveyard as disassembly & repacking would be a huge pain.

Pleasantly surprised.
Love this chair! I researched lots and lots of chairs and decided to give this one a try and I have absolutely no regrets. I am a 6ft women and wanted a chair with a tall back, lumbar support and the capability to raise the seat high enough, so that my legs are perpendicular to the floor when my feet are flat on the ground. This chair does all that. The top of the backrest is the same height as my shoulders. I have the headrest attached, but I rarely use it and it is not in the way. The lumbar supports me perfectly. It is not a super strong support, but just enough. My only concern was that the chair is not made up of a cushion but a weave and I have never sat 0n anything like that and wasn't sure if I would like it over a long period of time. Some complain because of this they are colder and that is possible, but it does not bother me. It is very comfortable, stable, support and even though you are not sitting on a cushion it does not feel hard. It does have some flexibility when sitting. Now, I would have to agree with one of the other gentlemen reviewers that if you like to sit with your legs spread, which men probably would, it may not be very comfortable because your legs would end up sitting on top of the framing of seat. For me, I have no issue with this, the chair is wide enough, and I sit very comfortably. The chair is also very light to maneuver around, which is another plus. I have had it for 4 months now and would definitely purchase this chair again.

Nice fit
The chair was easy to assemble and feels very sturdy. The black color looks sleek and professional, fitting well with any room décor. The mesh seat is very comfortable, and the back support provides good comfort for long periods of sitting. The chair reclines smoothly and rolls easily without scratching the hardwood floor. I would definitely recommend it.

Over 6' with long arms? Pick a different chair
I don't write many reviews, but felt compelled to after this chair purchase. Unfortunately, I've had a much different experience than most of the other reviewers, so it seems I'm in the minority. For starters, I'm 6' 2" 220lbs and have a longer than average arm length. I work from home at the computer for 8-10 hours a day and the most comfortable position for me to work in is slightly reclined with my arms a little extended to the mouse and keyboard. Due to having long arms and legs, if I'm pulled up on top of the mouse/keyboard then I feel like I'm being smothered. If you're built like me and have the same sitting preferences, this chair is not for you. I'll highlight my pros and cons for review. Pros Built quality is pretty good. It feels sturdy and at my weight it doesn't feel like there's any slop in the pivot points. Time will tell if they develop. The lumbar support resulting from the shape of the chair is nice. Would be better if it were an adjustable piece, but we can't have it all right. The headrest is nice, moves around to whatever position you prefer and stays in place. I like the little rib pieces on the top of the base. If I do sit forward, it's nice to slide my feet under and have some grippy bits on the base. The mesh is breathable and I haven't felt sweaty at all. Cons There are two huge issues for me here. The first is that the bottom seat is not long enough. I feel like I'm constantly hanging off the end of the chair. I slide myself backwards as far as I can, but inevitably the reclining function of the seat will push you forwards, only to restart the sliding back process 2 minutes later. If you're a little shorter than me, this might not be an issue for you. The second issue is the armrests. It was my mistake for not noticing this when I ordered it, but I should not have bought a chair that has the arms attached to the reclining back. I should have bought a chair that has the armrests attached to the base instead. The reason it's a problem is because of the slightly reclined position that I prefer to sit in. When I lean back, the armrest does too. Which means the end of it is now at an upward angle. When I rest my forearm on it for my mouse hand side, instead of my arm laying flat on the armrest, it's just resting on the very end of it, which becomes uncomfortable very quickly. The uploaded picture was taken in my normal sitting position. As you can see, it's a pretty extreme angle to rest your forearm like that for 8-10 hours a day. Overall, I regret buying this chair. At the $270 price point, there are hundreds of other options that would probably have suited me better. I'll use it for a few months then probably give it to one of my kids as their gaming chair. The next one I buy I'll make sure doesn't have the armrests attached to the back. Star Loss -1 for the bottom seat -1 for the armrests -1 for the price. This feels more like a $100 chair, not $270 Update: After talking with customer service, they were able to send me an extension for the bottom seat, as well as arm supports that attach to the desk. Due to the stellar customer support, I moved it from 2 stars to 3. If you're the same size as me, still pick a different chair. If you do pick this one, at least their customer support will work with you to make it a better experience.
