Quality, Function, and Ideal For Waist Training
I have been waist training for about 5 years now and have many under bust, over bust, neoprene, latex, steel boned, lace & hook girdles, corsets, and other shape wear in my closet. I started with lace up corsets and latex girdles like this one, but gained weight over the past year (and basically had to start over reshaping the fat lol) Right off the bat, I could tell this is what I've been looking for on Amazon. I had ordered a few 'latex' girdles that felt flimsy and began to expand or lose shape after a couple weeks of wear. Some I was even on hook 3 after day one which is disappointing. This girdle features very well built and secure eye hooks that I'm not afraid of bending or coming apart from pulling and tugging. The inner lining is cloth material, so I don't have to worry so much about wearing another garment underneath (the latex is not directly on your skin all day, where other latex waist trainers can be irritating to those who don't have latex allergies if worn for a long time) I am 5'3", 195lbs and use these items EXCLUSIVELY for waist training. I don't use them for weight loss or back support per se (but after years of waist training you pretty much have to wear one for back support especially if you have large breasts like myself.) I ordered a 3XL based on the size chart and my big butt. I have worn others between medium and 2XL - please use the charts! Every manufacturer is different and if it's LATEX expect it to be a TIGHT FIT vs neoprene, spandex, or combo materials. You will need to wrestle this one on but once you do, you will prob love it. I was able to hook in the last hook row immediately which I'm fine with. I wanted to test this brand and style before ordering closer to my size expectation. Even the 3XL on the last hook really sucks everything in nicely, distributes any rolls that I hate to the right areas, and doesn't create any new ones (also hate.) TIP: If you're struggling with fitting your girdle, you may have it too LOW on your torso. I have a long torso for a short girl. Your girdle / corset should fall just below your bust line and end just below the belly and above the hips. (If you can tell in the photo) if you go too low on your hips, you will have a hell of a time trying to squeeze into your shape wear and may think it doesn't fit. Find the area on your body that has the most give and work from there, you can always pull it into position once you're latched :) Also, use your man or a girlfriend to get them suckers TIGHT. Bonus is you will definitely gain some muscle in your arms pulling your girdles closed lol I always need some help pulling up the back (mines a little low in the photos as I only had myself to fit this one) And if it doesn't work out as in too small, the manufacturer included a coupon for an extender (I already have like fifty but thanks!) Overall, would totally buy another one. This was exactly what I had been looking for but was skeptical because of the price and sizing. If you want that extra tight squeeze, those BLAM curves, and back support I HIGHLY recommend this product and wasn't bribed in any way to say this :)

Supportive, Slimming, and Well-Made”
The LADYSLIM waist trainer fits well and feels supportive during workouts and everyday wear. It helps shape the waist and provides a smoother silhouette under clothes. Comfortable enough for regular use and great for enhancing workout results.

Best waist trainer yet! Edit: If you get the right one!
Edit 2: Okay so this review is super long. I loved my very first waist trainer (see last part of my review)...I lost it and ordered a new one. It seemed different...thinner, too stretchy. I wrote the company an email under my husbands account asking if there was a diff type and I got a diff one because I really wanted the same as my first. I found my first one and they seemed very similar but I still felt like they were a bit different.(see "edit" directly after this...same post) I decided to keep both because it's still a great waist trainer and honestly I could use both to layer/cover every inch of my torso if really needed. To my surprise I received a THIRD waist trainer in the mail. I don't really know if I'm supposed to return one or what but I'm gonna send the 2nd one back in the attached return envelope. I wasn't charged, by the way! I noticed this third one felt super thick and not as stretchy! The packaging was identical as the last two except the 2nd one I ordered had a little plastic hook on it and this did not. I'm honestly bringing my review back to a 5 star just because of the customer service and also because it IS good quality. I felt a little crazy but holding the inside material of each waist trainer up side by side i def see a different in color/material (third pic) It's very small and most people won't care, I'm just SUPER PICKY! Edit; I ordered a new one about a month or so later because I lost the one I just got and it's a totally different material!! This makes me pretty disappointed, it's not a BAD waist trainer but it's much thinner and stretchy. This could be good to some people but not me, I like the material thick and with little give...like the original one I ordered! I'm taking my 5 star rating down to a 3 because of the inconsistency. I can't even say how bummed I am, I want to order the same one I had before but how can I know which one I'm getting? The second pic I'm posting is the crapper version, you can see by the clips alone it's totally different. Same row but it's pulling almost? I don't see this one holding up for very long. Sigh. Original review: I used my waist measurement (32") and purchased a large. I'm 5'2, 150lbs and very hip-y...kind of pear shaped. I've had multiple waist trainers ranging from expensive to cheap and this one is probably the best I've had. At least from first try-on! I don't know how itll hold up over time but I received it today, tried it on and it fit perfectly snug. I've ordered waist trainers off Amazon in the past and the last one I had was good quality but thicker latex. This is latex but not a heavy-weight one which will make long wears more comfortable. I'm on the first rows of clips..which by the way are again, the best quality yet. They literally "snap" once clipped and don't easily come undone unless you're doing it yourself. I think this is supposed to be for "long" torsos but I've found that even though I have a short torso, these fit the best for me. I don't like having that awkward "back fat" and it comes just under my breasts down to my hips perfectly. I highly recommend this! I bought the black one and for under 25$ you really can't go wrong. Bad pic but it's something..

It helped me define my waistline
I purchased the 2x black latex trainer. I gave this 5 stars because I usually have, what I would describe as, a boxy midsection and an undefiened waistline. But since wearing it, coupled with a change in diet and exercise routine, I have a more defined waistline that is noticable by others. Everytime I wear something new at work, this comment is made: 'Oh, look at your waist, it's definitely visibly smaller'. General comments: It is a bit of a struggle to get on at 1st, but no surprise there. It did have a strong latex smell coming out of the package, but that went away very quickly. Product appears to be well made with sturdy materials, and 3 rows of hooks and catches. How I used it: I purchased the trainer over 6 months ago. I wore it 8, maybe 10, hours a day, 5 days a week, for 3 months straight. Coworkers and family members did notice a change in my waistline, and posture, during this time. At the 4 month mark, I changed my diet and exercise routine, and started wearing the trainer less (mainly because I didn't want to NEED to wear the trainer to have a small waist). Now, I wear it occasionally, and I would need a smaller one in a few months. Working Out: I only wore the trainer once during a workout at Orange Theory Fitness, and it was not something I'd do again. But that's my experience. It works fine for some women while working out, but just not for me. I prefer sauna vests. Now, if I was doing more free weight exercises, I think this would trainer would be good while helping me keep my form. Note: When I purchased this trainer, I don't think I read the disclaimer that it's not recommemded for women over 5'8. Well, I'm 5'10, 210 pounds and it fits fine. However, reading the disclaimer for the 1st time makes me hesitant to buy the smaller one from them- hence the 4 stars.

Love handles GONE! (29" waist)
This is going to be a lengthy review that might get longer if I decide to update. This is my first waist trainer. I am 110 pounds (2 months post partum), 5'4" and my waist is measuring at 29". I just received this waist trainer today. I ordered the xs (a size too small) and it was very hard to get on...but I wanted to be able to shrink into it and save more money. I've always struggled with love handles. No matter how small or fit I was, I had them. I built all my outfits around hiding them. I decided to try to tame them with a waist trainer and as soon as I put this on, they smoothed right down. I immediately had the shape I'd always wanted, no love handles visible. I can probably wear it under most things undetected, so it will broaden my wardrobe. As for losing inches, I can't say right now because I just got it today, I am speaking of it's immediate effect. Even if it doesn't make me lose inches, I'll be able to wear it under clothes to hide the love handles and that is a huge plus. It smells like latex, duh. It seems very sturdy to me, but the steel boning isn't doubled stitched and I've heard that can point to quality (if they're double stitched). It is way more comfortable than I imagined it being, I got through the first 2 hours (I'm "seasoning" it, and me, like Google advised me to) fine and didn't wanna take it off. By day 21 I will be wearing it 8 hours a day, per the seasoning schedule. I am a pretty small person and ordered the xs and I think I'd have been fine ordering the small. This was really hard to get on and it even gave me a bit of a roll on top, maybe it wouldn't have if I'd gotten a small. It only took a few minutes to put on and I am on the biggest row, so I have two more to grow into. I noticed that the steel boning doesn't go completely to the top or bottom, there is a bit of space left at both top and bottom that do not have boning in them, this COULD potentially lead to rolling, but it didn't on me today. The hooks seem really good and even as tight as it is I don't fear that they will pop out. I've read to work stomach muscles with trainers or you run the risk of actually losing abdominal muscles. I will do some stomach workouts and I am purchasing a trampoline for cardio. I've read that 10 minutes on a trampoline is equal to 30 minutes of running without the joint strain... So that will by my cardio to burn inches with this. I'll be able to wear waist cinching dresses now! I'll be able to wear so many things I couldn't before even if I don't lose inches because I can still wear it under clothes for those times. It is a bit hard to sit in and you will look a bit odd sitting so proper. It is great for posture while sitting. I feel scared to bend in it because I don't wanna break it, though many said they worked out in it and it is fine. It really is fantastics for what I wanted it for and I am hoping I actually end up losing inches with it too. I might update and if I do I will try to include pictures, but I really love this thing!!

RUNS SMALL, hope this helps! (new UPDATE )
(New update)- well I received my replaced cincher and gonna give you lady's ordering it my thoughts and personal experience. Old review is down below. OK here is the pros.- the smell is still the same, it's not overbearing like a lot of people have said. It does smell like rubber or whatever when you put it to your face BUT it will be around your waist and you won't and shouldn't smell it at all from there lol. The length of it is great as well cuz i consider myself to have a long torso.. so was happy when it covered all of me. The product is STRONGLY MADE. Actually really impressed on the durability of it. The hooks are very very strong and not going anywhere and it makes your posture PERFECTO! Lol.. whether you want it to be or not.. it's not gonna let u slump over. .. and that's where I get to the cons.. so like I said in my previous post below all my shirts are mediums.. so the first one I went with I decided to play it safe (so I thought) and get a large... wrong, wrong, it runs very small! And it wasn't gonna happen in anyway possible. So I reordered and bought the XL and it fits yes. But omg... was that insane to put on.. I had to have help from my boyfriend and it was so damn hard and we was laughing so hard it made it even harder. I know everyone says it's supposed to be hard and may need help the first time till it loosen's up... but OMG. That was crazy.. so anyways. The bad part was.. when I would try to sit down I couldn't sit comfortably at all, it made it where I only wanted to stand. The ribs in it that run from the top to the bottom.. I had problems with it stabbing me when I sat down. One in my hip and other in my top rib.. so I'm not sure if that's normal or what.. or how normal people are supposed to wear these in there normal day activities lol.. I was able to wear mine for probably 3 hours and I had to take it off. But it did feel nice wearing standing up lol. So Idk ladies! Yall will have to decide what Yall think about it but I really hope my review helps yall with your sizing and what yall will use it for. Good luck! :) (First review) -Really struggling to decide whether to go threw the hassle of returning this and having to pay shipping and handling AGAIN. I was so excited to get it and was torn when I realized the sizing was not correct. I seen the size accuracy was around 50% so I knew this would be a 50 50 chance I would get it right or wrong. I read so so very many reviews to try to determine the size I needed. So I'm normally a medium in a Tshirt and I even went up and bought a large and it was still way to small. There was no way. So I'm torn whether to pay even more now to send it back and have to wait for a larger size or to just hold it and wait till maybe one day i can get into it.. Positives on it tho, it didn't have that horrible overly strong plastic odor that a lot of customers complained about. Mine hardly had any smell at all... but mine seemed to have been possibly messed with or opened at one point cuz it was tapped back with scotch tape???... found that a little unprofessional since I bought it NEW.. but it's hook's looked nice and strong but I'm not sure how it would fit since I couldn't try it on. I will change my review if I return it and it and am pleased with it. But for now the sizing gets It a 1 star because no one wants to take a 50 50 chance when they buy something and have to worry about the sizing not being accurate.

Here's what you want to know
I wanted to write this review in hopes of helping someone else. I am 7 weeks postpartum and I was looking for a waist trainer that would help with back support, shaping the waist, and one that would assist with weight loss. I first want to say I am 5 ft, 181 lbs, and my waist measured 39-40 inches. The size chart was incorrect in my case. I believe it recommended either a 3xl or 4xl. I didn't believe this was correct because I had ordered a waist trainer prior to this from Amazon and it was a medium which I fit. I also can fit clothing that's a size large in shirts and 10 in pants. In addition, most reviews sized down. I paid attention to reviewers who were around my height and weight class as well. I ended up getting an XL. The XL fit perfectly! I put it on the first set of hooks although I can probably put it to the second row if I want extreme compression. Let's talk about the trainer itself now. It's not as long as I thought it would be. I thought it would cover everything under breast down especially because I'm 5 ft and from waist to hip I measure abt 11". Don't get me wrong, I am happy with the coverage because it gets the job done. However, the area where back fat is will spill over if you have that problem. Fortunately I don't but I do know others may consider this. Also, I pull the trainer down and it covers the top stomach down to the end of my stomach which is what matters to me. The quality is good to me. It seems durable and for the first 15 minutes with it on or less I started to sweat which was a good sign to me. I think it would be fine to workout in. Overall it's comfortable, durable, and gets the job done in coverage. I'm not sure if it's detectable under clothing but I would assume so. It's winter and so not a concern for me since we are wearing coats and heavy clothing. Good luck ladies on your waist training journey. To 2021 our new selves lol
