This is the 4th back brace I have bought. It is by far the best! The others were all bulky, hot, and uncomfortable. I live in Florida, so 1/2 the year is hot. This is thin, and very comfortable against my skin. At first, I didn’t realize the Velcro covers needed to come off, but I figured it out. I can wear it all day, under my clothes and it doesn’t show. It even helps hide my tummy. I love it, and highly recommend it. I am 83, and have had several back surgeries. This brace is such a help to keep my back straight .it is also very easy to put on.

It’s comfortable, lightweight, and holds well, but it tends to ride up. The main issue is that the pads are glued on, and over time, they start peeling off, which is really disappointing

This Ultra Thin Back Brace is not for plus-sized or obese people, despite being well within the measurements listed. I'm sure it's fine for people who don't have an excess of flesh/fat/skin. I ordered based on 40" waist (I'm actually 39.5"), and the size I ordered is supposed to be good for up to 42" waist-- it barely connects, about 1" overlap at ends. SIZE UP! Part of the issue, aside from excess tissue, is the 10" difference between my waist & hips (even when I was thin). This brace is supposed to be for lower back, but definitely does not accommodate such a large difference between hip and waist ratio. This prevents being able to pull the ends completely around while the brace is properlypositionedto support the lower back. The brace manufacturer should take into account at least a 5" difference between waist and hips. The narrowness of the band squished my excess flesh, making it extremely uncomfortable as the stays jabbed into the top of my buttocks and back. Good part is the "hooks" part of the hook & loop closure are covered with a thin cloth so the hooked side isn't grabbing everything loopy during shipping. The hook & loop closure seemed secure. If hip-waist ratios were accounted for, this would probably provide great support. If you're average or thin, I'm sure this brace would help provide support & relief for lower back pain, but I can't recommend for plus-size or obese people.

This isn't bad for the price. It works to support the back. I wish it was about 1-1 1/2 inches wider. It would be perfect if that was the case!

Do not buy. I tried to give this 0 stars. The material was cheap and flimsy. Worst off the velcro wasn’t velcro. I thought this was a gag gift. If you want a flimsy piece of material with a fake piece of velcro, then this is perfect for you.
