Transformers Toys Studio Series Leader Class Age of Extinction Optimus Prime, 8.5-inch Converting Action Figure, Ages 8+

A pretty great Optimus Prime figure, definitely the best AOE Prime so far (IMO). Pros: Good articulation, not too many truck bits hanging off him, decent accessories. Cons: Not nearly enough paint in robot mode, have to take apart shield to reveal gun, price is a good bit too high, he's really only Voyager size but he costs $55. I got him on Prime Day for $35 & I think he's definitely worth that price but honestly $55 is too much Hasbro.

shipping was extremely quick which is a huge upside, the figure itself is awesome, when it first came out of the package a lot of things were loose & not tabbing correctly but after playing around with it for some time it became extremely solid and fun! the backpack can be removed so it has a cleaner appearance too! the paint isn’t to bad and doesn’t bother me as much as i thought it would 8.5/10

Amazing figure when it’s on sale! I would never have paid the full 55-60 dollars for this, I got one when it was 35 dollars for prime day and I am impressed with how solid the figure is, the joints allow a very wide range of motion and he can pull off the iconic sword pose very naturally with the wrist joints. The positives of this figure are definitely in the sculpt and the ability to remove the backpack for a more screen actuate robot mode if desired. It has room for improvement with accessories but dna designs has an upgrade kit available for his arm blades, shotgun, and more accurate sword. Overall, I would recommend getting this figure when it’s on sale, don’t pay full price unless you absolutely have to have it.

Great Optimus Prime figure that is based off of the Age of Extinction movie. Transformation is easy and fun. The Alt mode is perfect, but the robot mode is still pretty good, definitely not perfect. It's a leader class figure, but in my opinion, it's not leader class size, but more leader class engineering. Overall, still happy to have.

The unpainted grey might be an issue for some, but the details are immaculate, the paintjob is outstanding where it's done, the robot mode looks gorgeous, the transformation is surprising in a lot of ways, fun, and leads to one of the best executed altmodes Optimus had had in years

Bought as a present for grandsons 7th birthday, ho is a transformer toy fan. He loved it and soon got to grips with transforming it on his own.
