Ok, I am not one to splurge on expensive hair dryers. My last three hairdryers came from Target, were under $30, and died within two years. So, I thought I would try a little more expensive hair dryer this time. I have to say, this one is really nice. It is very lightweight and has an extremely long cord for anyone who is looking to blow out their hair. For me, the long cord is convenient because my bathroom plug has quite a reach to where I stand to dry my hair. The dryer gets very hot, comparable to my other 1875 watt hairdryers in the past. It dries my medium thickness, shoulder blade length hair in about the same time as my previous hairdryers. I doesn't cut my drying time by a significant amount. Overall, I really like this hairdryer, and my husband enjoys that it is black because my previous dryers were all pink or purple. He didn't think it was "manly" to dry his hair with a pink hairdryer. My only hangup is whether this one will last longer than my previous buys, and only time will tell.

I really do love the drying power of this blow dryer! I have very thick, coarse hair that is almost waist length. It used to take me well over 30 minutes to dry my hair with other blow dryers, but am happy to report that I can have my hair dry in under 10 minutes with this one! It really is amazing. Even with using high heat, my hair does not feel as dry (brittle) as with other blow dryers. Pros: 3 heat settings. 2 speed settings. A cool shot button. Infrared heat. Concentrator, diffuser and comb attachments. Cuts drying time significantly. Long cord. Cons: A bit on the heavy side. The cool shot button is right where you wrap your fingers to hold the blow dryer, so I am constantly depressing the button inadvertently. Overall, I highly recommend this blow Dryer. It is by far the best I have owned! I hope on newer models they find a way to make it lighter and change how the cool shot button is situated, otherwise, Awesome!

Awesome hair dryer--works really nicely. I haven't bought a new hair dryer in more years than i can remember. So glad i finally to the leap and got this one! I love the 3 different heats that can run, plus the 'cool' button. Most hair dryers I've used you only get cool air if you hold the button which is just annoying to me. This one you can switch it to low and it's a nice cool air. The infrared light operates at medium and hot heat on the button. (you can see this in the pictures) The outer coating is nice and heat temperature resistant, which works for me because sometimes I hold it around the barrel. With the coating on this you won't burn your hands. It dries my hair super fast and im so very happy with my purchase!

I'm a professional hair dresser and needed a blow dryer that dried hair quickly and had a long cord. When I saw this blow-dryer had a 9 foot cord and an infrared light, I ordered it. PROS: long cord, dried hair quickly, lightweight, sleek look, comes with 3 attachments CONS: the infrared light cannot be turned off. It is always on. The first time I used it on a client, I noticed how bright the light was in the mirror and was worried it was going to give someone a seizure lol my client reassured me he couldn't see the light flickering on his face so I tried it on mine and he was right, you can't see the flickering. But because I'm a weirdo, I put the concentrater attachment on to minimize the brightness of the light. All in all, I recommend this dryer. :)

While I was using the hair dryer on the low speed setting, it suddenly starting blowing like it was on the high setting. I thought maybe I accidentally bumped the switch, but it goes low - off - high, so it wasn't that. It blew the same whether it was on high or low. After a few second, I heard a pop and smoke began coming out of the hair dryer and the handle got extremely hot. Of course, I was in the middle of drying my hair getting ready to leave on a business trip, so aside from the fact that it caught fire in my hand, I had to scramble trying to find an old one so I could finish getting ready. I have had hair dryers fail before, but never one catch fire and certainly not one only a few months old.

I was moderately surprised with this hair dryer. It is a bit on the expensive side for me since my past few hair dryers were around $20 or less. The quality of this hair dryer is better than the ones I’ve gottten. My friend had recommended this brand to me. I have only used hair dye red by consist. They tend to break after 1 year just when the warranty ends. I do like that hair dryer came with different attachment. I like using the concentrated nozzle. I use it on my bangs. My hair does feel a bit different when using this hair dryer. It is less frizzy and not as dry. There are 3 heating options, I usually use the medium heat on my hair. Overall I was pleased with this hairblower. It is well worth what you pay for. The build quality is great and better than our cheaper hairdryers.

I almost never write reviews (unless I really hate something) but this blow-drier is incredible. I have thick, long, curly hair. I used to use a chi straightening iron to straighten it but I got tired of the whole thing and ended up just wearing my hair naturally curly for the past few years. Lately, I've been wanting to go straight again but dreaded the straightening iron. I hate having to dry my hair, then straighten it one section at a time, burning my scalp! So i did a bit of research and this blow-drier (with the little straightening piece) was supposed to be good. Given that it's only $50, i figured i;d try it out. It is AMAZING. I towel dried my hair for about 20 minutes while getting dressed and then started blow-drying it by brushing it out with the straightening tip. It is seriously amazing ,took 10 minutes to get my whole head of hair smooth and sleek. I love it!! Wish I'd bought it years ago!
