Really nice phone at a respectable price, definitely worth it!
Switching to this phone from a Nokia 8.1 was an absolute breeze, since I could use the Google data transfer thing to do it easily. The screen is excellent, smooth and responsive at 120 Hz. Plenty of storage at least for me, and there was little bloatware on the device, and whatever bloatware there was was very easy to uninstall. It is way faster than the phone I had before, and it can comfortably run most games at a smooth 60/120 fps. For me, it was great value for money, since this phone can rival other flagship phones on the market right now. The battery life is alright, nothing major, but the 90W quick charging makes up for it as it can charge in around half an hour. The phone itself looks quite sleek, nothing amazing since it is just a thin brick with a screen, but the camera quality is solid as well, and all of the physical buttons work perfectly. However, it's slightly disappointing that it doesn't come with a charger in the UK, but it did come with a phone ring, which was nice.

Phenomenal Phone as good as my main phone which I paid 3x more!!!
Absolutely phenomenal phone. I have been using flagship branded phone as my main phone and only purchased this as a additional phone for my business, however the device performes as well as my main phone which I payed 3x more then price of this phone. Camera performance is great , battery is decent last easily a full day with good use, no issues with WiFi as I read some reviews so I was a bit wary. Speed is insanely fast. Only downside is it did not come with a charger , to compensate it did come with a protective case and had a screen protector on.For that price I am not complaining at all. Screen is amazing , scrolling is lighting fast on social media. I absolutely love the fact on most apps you can get the dual feature. I Ended purchase a other for my son as well who was surprised how great the online gaming performance was. I would recommend using the original charger which charges it rapidly fast. Great buy.

Great value exceptional phone for the price
For the price there is not much that can beat this phone- it’s fast, stylish, great battery life and call quality is super. The camera takes excellent vibrant detailed photos and the phone is quite slim although a little heavier than some phones. Cases and screen protectors are easy to find and cheap too. Android 15 out of the box and mine did 2 security updates within the first hour of using it. The only downside to Xiaomi phones - and this one is no exception- is the amount of bloatware on the phone. The best way to deal with it is to uninstall all the apps you don’t want - some of the Chinese supplied ones you can’t uninstall but you can hide them away in a folder so they don’t bother you- just remember to disable notifications from them under “settings”. Apart from the bloatware once sorted this is an exceptional phone for the price. Recommended- there’s really no need to spend 5 times the money on a premium android or iOS which basically does the same things as this Xiaomi. Save yourself some money and you won’t regret it😊

Exceptional value and great specs........................wonderful phone
My previous phone was a Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro, the same manufacturer as this phone, just made in 2021. I bought the 12GB and 512GB storage option for the X7 Pro. The phone itself is well made, no charger included on mine. There are a USB type C cable, an ejection tool, for the Sim card and a rather strange looking "ring holder". It feels reasonably premium in quality, placed in the case then it feels just the same as any other protected phone. The buttons are responsive. I did buy my own case, preferring one with a cover that closes, but the silicone open type black case that is supplied is decent enough. There seems to be a plastic film covering the screen, I have left mine on, no issues when using the fingerprint scanner by doing so. On first use I was most impressed, the fluidity of the phone, when opening or moving from apps or functions, is both fast and very responsive. That responsiveness does not seem to change much when it has been in use for a full day and none of the apps used have been closed. That is most apparent. With 12GB of RAM and the huge 512GB of storage it seems that my needs are covered for some considerable time. Having been familiar with this brand of phone, with my previous 10 Pro, and having used Android phones for many years, it was ok when setting this one up, as was the general functionality of it. However, there are some functions, like camera settings, that might not be so obvious when selected. Like clicking "Dynamic Shot", have not got a clue what that means, no help nor any manual included then I'll probably need to hunt the Internet for meaning. The camera itself is a upgrade over the pretty decent camera on the 10 Pro that I had. You can notice some sharpening and "over processing" on some shots, if using the cameras AI and HDR type functions, but not overly bad. Whilst that can be subjective I have been very impressive with the photos, the clarity and detail, with OIS, optical image stabilisation, really does a great job here. So, both video and photos are very well done, overall. The phone does come with lots of pre installed apps, many of them can be removed. Some though are baked into the device and will not be removed easily. Some of those are Xiaomi's own and have no removal option. This is not any different to other phones that I have used, buying an Android phone without some baked in apps from the manufacturer is impossible these days. They are not overly intrusive though. The screen size is comparable to my 10 Pro, and so I have accepted that a six inch plus is the norm these days, and it is responsive to use and seems, so far, to be usable in the bright day light with the sun shining on the screen. The speakers are great, loud and the sound does not seem to distort. One being on the top and the other at the bottom. Some negatives..... No charger included, I knew that as it is mentioned in the advert. Still it would be a nice to have item for the fast charging of the large battery that has lasted, so far, for well over a full days use. In fact, taking lots of video and photos and a lot of other use, the battery level still showed 60% at the end of the day. The std X7 has a dedicated 2MP Macro camera. The Pro model, the one I bought, does not. There were occasions when having that Macro camera was VERY useful, I miss that. However, many phones do not seem to have those these days. The fingerprint scanner, whilst being great, is on the bottom of the front of the screen. Impossible to use single handed whilst holding the phone. On the 10 Pro it was positioned on the On / Off button on the side. Being low down on the front, no it is awkward, but usable. Overall, especially for the price whilst on sale, it is an exceptional phone. Nice to see the 5G capabilities, service provider and Sim dependant. Great functionality, capacity and brilliant screen, with a two years warranty. Android 15, system update when first powered up, seems to be the std. No charger, front on screen fingerprint scanner and no macro camera, being my negatives. Recommended and I hope this review has helped you.

An Excellent No Frills Phone - Performance and Value
This is my second Poco phone and I have been very happy with both of them. They really are everything you need and nothing you don't. This one has great battery life, a good display, a capable camera, plenty of power and plenty of storage - all for less that £300. What is not to like?

There is still a long way to go...
The phone feels solid and the photos are definitely impressive. The processor is excellent and I would love to see it featured in other devices, as it offers great value for the price. However, when it comes to Xiaomi's software, I'm not entirely convinced. There are bugs here and there, and we've come to notice that in mid-range models, they disable certain user experience features, such as blur effects in the UI, reserving the full experience for the flagship models. Additionally, there's no ability to skip songs while the screen is off using the volume buttons, which is a shame. Bluetooth audio seems to be consistently processed, even with filters off, causing noticeable lag and sync issues even with streaming services like Netflix, despite the processor. The battery performance is inconsistent, sometimes it lasts longer, sometimes less, even with the same usage. I still haven't figured out why. The security patches update the system, but the month reference for the patch doesn’t change. There are also menu items that are visible but unclickable. The screen recording feature captures outgoing audio but not incoming audio, which is a drawback. Overall, Xiaomi doesn't instill that sense of software security and robustness that you get with other brands, like Honor for example. If you're looking for a budget phone that takes great photos and you’re not too concerned about the rest, go ahead and get it without hesitation. But if you’re after more quality and reliability in software, then look elsewhere—there are other brands offering better value, starting from a similar price range.

Very impressed.
I'm really impressed. My fold 3 broke so I needed a quick replacement until new foldables come out in May/June. At 299, it's cheaper than the nothing 3a(which was my initial choice). Processor is almost similar to a Sgen2 but just a bit hotter if pushed which is not a problem for non power users. Battery last double the time than my fold3 and charges a lot faster(I have an 80watt OnePlus brick and works fine). Ram at 12gb and another 8gb extension is just perfect to handle multiple apps. Memory, 512gb of space it's more than enough and it's fast enough. That 1 main camera and the AI helping it, it's quite impressive and I don't feel that I'm penalised that I chose a budget phone to take pictures. Obviously, you don't have a lot of choice, but you can manage just fine for a daily. Screen is a good size and bright enough even in direct sunlight. Speakers are loud(a bit of distortion at 100%) and it has Bluetooth 5.3 which can handle 2 devices at the same time. Only bad thing is that it only has 3yrs of support and 4 of security updates but for £300 it's enough. Being used to flagships for the last 12yrs, I am really impressed what you can get for so little money nowadays. If you're a power user like me, you'll need a flagship. Sustained gaming it's a no no and ultrawide camera is a joke. But otherwise, great phone. Not a lot of bloatware and easy to clean and setup. Good android 15 variant with nice touches to help the UI. Design is meh( I got the green one) and case choices are limited and not super nice. You'll need a pop socket or ring cause it's difficult to handle it 1 handed.

Worth it, But not worth it at all 🚫
Bloated with Chinese ads, a extremely high battery consumption phone launch (Poco launcher), and the best part is to delete the Chinese BLOATWARE apps you need Adbs on your pc and connect it to your phone with usb. Don't get it twisted the phones features and quality is fantastic but unless your willing to mod your phone like it's a personal project it's mostly a nuisance If that type of stuff isnt for you just buy a Motorola phone. it's a better budget phone with way less BLOATWARE no downloaded apps with ads and its owned by Lenovo one of the best laptop brands (yes I'm biased) don't buy this phone unless your willing to tweak it like a scientist gng ts pmo icl 💔🥀✌️
