Sturdy construction with no wiggling
I bought this mounting kit for a 2004 Mustang and it is a perfect fit. There's a good chance it would fit 99 and 2000 as well. I would recommend checking the part number on the Metra site to make sure it fits your vehicle. There are a number of reviews that gave the product lower stars due to a lack of research. If your vehicle is listed there, this is a good product to go with. This is for a larger-than-single DIN slot so it has a pocket with a little space for nick-knacks below the head unit. I've found this is a good spot for my remote. The plastic is sufficiently sturdy that you won't have worry about anything breaking if you drive over a large bump. It's made to be quite modular so if you wanted to drill extra holes for customization this kit is pretty accommodating. It comes with a plate for the back of your unit as well so it doesn't have to hang in mid-air which could put too much stress on the front mounting points. This is a no-nonsense mounting kit that will keep a sturdy hold on your head unit and I would recommend it to anyone.

Perfect
Who wants to live in a world without music? Not me. I went to the electronics store and found that these will fit my 2005 Ford Explorer. I saved atleast $30 buying these on Amazon and the installation was a dream (no vibrations). The single DIN is perfect so you can have a place to put your phone or AUX cord when you are driving.

The right fit.
If you have a 2005 Ford Explorer, this is the right dash kit for you. I have to compliment Amazon on the overnight shipping. This item was placed on Sunday, New Years Day. Even with Monday being a holiday, I still received this today (Tuesday). I needed this ASAP and was expecting it on Wednesday. Very impressive Amazon.

Not made for an "03 F250
They are not very specific about exactly what models this thing fits. I have an "03 F250, and it does not fit... It didn't mount right up, but after a little work with the dremel and a few extra screws, I made it work.
