I am a 77 year old woman who was experiencing thinning hair. My mother had hair loss in her later years to the extent that she had to resort to wigs for nearly 20 years. They were very expensive and troublesome so I was looking for an alternative solution for myself. I read the reviews for this laser therapy and though it was expensive I decided to give it a try. I have been using it for almost a year now and it has worked wonderfully. Though I still lose hair, new hair has grown in to compensate for the loss and my hair feels full again. The only area where my hair is still thin are my bangs and I really don’t mind that. I’ve lost the stress I was feeling over possibly going bald. It is so easy to use. Just a 25 minute session every other day. I sit and do a jigsaw puzzle on my computer and it shuts off automatically when it’s done. I actually look forward to that quiet time to myself. Although it is an expensive purchase it would be far more costly to have to buy new wigs every few months. I hope this continues to work for a long time, but if it does wear out eventually, I will buy another one.

I am a 61-year-old woman, and my hair has been thinning for several years. I used to have a lot of very thick hair, so the thinning wasn't noticeable to anyone but myself. Then a few months ago I suddenly noticed drastic hair loss in my temple area. My front hairline also became thin, so you could see my scalp through the hair. I've been using different hair-loss shampoos as well, Bosley Defense and Pronexa alternately. I thought the shotgun approach would be the best way to address the problem. I'm happy to say that my hair is regrowing beautifully. I'm no longer self conscious about my hair style. I have lots of new baby hair coming in, and it's my natural dark color, not white like a lot of my hair is. I give most of the credit to the iRestore helmet; I've tried Rogaine for women in the past with little result, but this time around my hair is really responding. I would highly recommend this product for women in my situation, I've told all my friends about the iRestore, and once I open the door to this conversation it turns out that every single one of my 50's and 60's-aged friends have noticed enough hair loss to raise concerns. The price seems a little high, but in my opinion it's a small price to pay for incredible hair regrowth as well as not having to see the doctor about it. The helmet is really easy to use. It's comfortable and the controller works great. I sit down and relax with a glass of wine and a book and I really look forward to those 25 minutes every other day! I like that you can pause the timer and get up and do something if you have to, then resume the timer when you can sit back down. I know everyone will probably have different results, but for me the iRestore is working beautifully and allowing me to regain the thick, luxurious head of hair I had when I was younger. I started out skeptical, but no longer. For me at least, this product was the magic bullet I was looking for! I should probably add that on the iRestore website, the helmet is on sale for $200 off for two more days. The normal website price is $695, so normally Amazon is a better deal, but until January 31 they are offering a $200 coupon.

I tried shampoos and serums but they take months before you see any results and one day after I got out of the shower I couldn’t believe the amount of hair I found in the drain. I was nervous, especially after consulting with my doctor who couldn’t explain why this was happening based on my lab results. He referred me to a dermatologist and as I anxiously awaited the appointment, I saw this product. It got some pretty good reviews and It was quicker and easier to order this than go the medical route - who knows what that would’ve entailed and how much it could end up costing! I was so excited when it arrived that I cancelled the appointment. It’s very light and comfortable to wear, couldn’t be easier to use and since I ordered the battery pack, I could move about freely. What a horrible disappointment! I never saw any improvement. I convinced myself that if I used it long enough I’d eventually notice a difference. I told myself that maybe it was preventing further hair loss. I just could not admit to myself that this very expensive item didn’t work. I have less hair now than when I started so I’m back on the shampoos and serums as I await my appointment with the dermatologist.

I recently purchased the iRestore Essential and have just started using it. The device feels well-made and is easy to use. I appreciate the comfortable, hands-free design and clear instructions. It’s still too early to judge the results, but I’m hopeful and following the routine consistently. I plan to update this review after a few months of use once I can better evaluate the effectiveness.

Its too early to write..using for one month.I am 30+...can not say whether new hair is growing...but hair fall has definitely reduced and getting under controlled..greying of hair has significantly reduced..and overall hair quality has improved...important to note that I am not under any other type of medication for hair...will keep posting...

I’m a 37 year old female who has been noticing steady hair loss since 35. I’ve tried every suggestion I could find on google and followed my dermatologist’s hair restoration recommendations to the letter. This includes special hair loss vitamins, prenatal vitamins, shampoos, minoxidil... Though minoxidil did work for a while (noticed new hair growth and slowing of hair loss), it maxed out. I started losing tons of hair in the shower again. As I’d walk through my condo, I’d feel hair brush the tops of my feet. I was losing so much!! My dermatologist said to start using minoxidil twice a day instead of once. I did, and I was still losing hair. This was hormonal and stress induced hair loss. Anytime I got a bit more stressed than usual, I’d lose more hair. I got the helmet and my hair has changed. It looks like it did in my early 20’s. I was known for my thick, shiny, long hair. But in the past couple years it has receded along my hair line (causing it to kink funny around my face) and a widened part was obvious in the back. That is all gone now. No visible part anywhere. Hair sprouted around my face. Best part is, I’m not losing it anymore. I used to collect it in the shower and ball it up to compare how much I would lose from previous days (actually I still do this). I keep a row of about 7-8 days prior to compare. The ball used to be as big as a gum ball. Now it’s not even big enough to ball it up sometimes!! Other times (like if I haven’t washed in a few days) it’ll be as big as a tic tac. I’ve been using it since Aug. 14, 2018 and it took about 3-4 weeks to stop losing hair. Oh yes, and I’ve stopped using the minoxidil about 4 weeks into using the helmet. My ponytail went from being barely the diameter of a nickel to now almost a quarter size thick! Also, since I began losing hair, I had been getting this wild bedhead. The bedhead is gone now. I’m so grateful for this product. My hair loss was causing me so much distress. I worried about it multiple times a day. Now, this is no longer a problem in my life. I have so much more space in my brain. There is one thing I do worry about... will this product stop working at some point? My minoxidil stopped after about 9 months. Maybe irestore can let me know?
