not sure what to do, computer refuses to boot without giving microsoft personal information. Use Fn F12 and boot with Rufus USB. Rufus allows re-installation of windows 11 without creating an online account. Also the wifi driver has to be downloaded on another machine and transferred via USB drive to the laptop and installed. The laptop itself is awesome. The 16gb of ram is soldered in and no expansion slot. It is dual channel ram and should be adequate for most users. I would still have liked to be able to put 32gb of ram in this laptop. Also the hard drive is upgradeable to 2tb. Just replaced the 512gb M.2 with a Sabrent 2tb drive and works great.

No fingerprint reader and no backlight keyboard. However, touch screen and camera shutter privacy work well. Fast restart and turning on. Set up was quick and easy.

After a few months of using the laptop, the screen gets a watermark to activate windows. I try, it says my windows product ID is not for the version installed on my laptop. I tried to contact customer service, only available via website. I get one phone call, left a message that sounded like he was behind a jet engine on take off. Then an email stating my service request was cancelled, call some 800 number and start over. Worst customer service ever. After fighting with Artificial UNintelligence, the rude lady who spoke way too fast for someone trying to get a message across with a heavy ESL accent put me on hold, then withiur explanation, I am on with automated Microsoft support, which referred me to a website. A website that couldn't help me. Buyer remorse, for sure. Fool me once, shame on you. Last Lenovo product I will buy. I will recommend everyone I meet against Lenovo. I haven't even met you, I recommend against Lenovo.
