Cordless Metal Shear for Milwaukee 18V Battery, Brushless Electric Metal Scissors for Cutting Stainless Sheet, Metal, Iron, Carpet, Leather, Cardboard (NO Battery)

I used this cordless metal shear to trim 24 gage galvanized steel roofing panels for an under the deck ceiling project. It performed exceptionally, providing a smooth cut line with very little effort (like cutting through butter). It easily cut through a double layer fold in the panel. Even when I cut out of the drawn line it was easy to re-trim a sliver of metal to the drawn line. The smooth trim of the cut metal is to the right side of the forward moving tool under the upper cutting blade. The opposite side cut metal had a slight undulating cut edge. When cutting towards a verticle angle the cutting tool had to be stopped just short of the upward turn, then approached from the opposite side and trim cut with a hack saw or bent break to separate. The tool was a real time saver and is an excellent value for the money.

Very durable, great price

I bought this to speed up the cutting of 1/2 hardware cloth (wire) for our chicken coop run. They worked better than I expected and dramatically reduced the amount of time needed to provide the cuts. Easy to use, does not discharge batteries excessively, and keeps the cutter size reasonable. The cutter that is an add on for the normal tool extends the size of the tool and adds weight. This keeps it compact and light. It's about the same price as the add on. The multiple speed setting in conjunction with the variable speed trigger makes this tool an asset to my tool cabinet.

Worth every penny only cut light gauge metal with it. Have not tried it with a heavier gauge metal

Purchased the RexLeLXB Cordless Metal Shear Tool only that will use DeWalt lithium batteries. Worked great to trim a piece of 26 gauge zinc coated sheet metal that I used as a cover on a wood shelf on a welding table. Just to test it I also cut a 2x6 joist hanger in half, It struggled a bit but did cut it. Device works good, blade seems initially sharp, time will tell how long that lasts. Device does seem to hold a slight charge after removing battery (capacitor?). But you can discharge that by turning it on and pessing the trigger and the light will bleed it out (do this with no battery in the device).So far with limited use am very happy with it. With the larger AH batteries if you are cutting a long section one end will hit the battery but it's easy to just push it down out of the way.

It was unexpected to me but it is great shear to cut clean on wire mesh. It impressed me and made me happy customer.

Not very hot, eventually it gets there.

These are exactly what my husband needed for the job he had planned. Worked great, no cords to get in the way and easy storage.
