I highly recommend everyone get this. I suggest getting one each month. Each one is enough food for 1 person for 1 month. Or it sufficient for 2 people for 2 weeks. Or enough for 4 people for 1 week. I highly recommend enough food for a minimum of a month 2 months worth is better, 3 months is good and 4 months is best.

I have not yet eaten any of the meals but want to share my findings at delivery. First of all, the big plastic box they came in is nice, but it's bigger than it has to be (contains 4 week supply), and about half an inch too tall to fit under a standard bed frame. We have two beds in the home and it won't fit under either. And secondly, my bad, I should have read the reviews, but you have to cook these meals and they serve eight per packet. Not sure in an emergency how I would cook these, or refrigerate the leftovers. There are only two of us these would feed. Again my bad for not reading the details but I was expecting something I would eat out of the packet with no cooking or tools, heat, or water that was one meal per packet. If that's what you're looking for, find something else.

I'm excited to be able to have a backup food source in the times of an emergency. I've read a quite a few bad reviews but I don't have anything to complain about. The reason for the 4 stars are two things. First, the kit is designed for one person for four weeks. The bags come in portions as such that you would feed four people. To prepare a bag would be multiple meals so you need to have a way to store or possibly refrigerator the extra. So portions of the bags are not designed for one. Second, I have yet to know how well the quality of the taste and flavors are yet. Hopefully they have that figured out.
