Having put one of the cars together as my first attempt at these superb models and enjoying every minute, I went for the Bigboy truck. The more time I spend building this, the more I realise what a fantastic product it is. The thought that has gone into these is amazing. This one would be a difficult first go, but once you work out the instructions, and what the symbols mean, they are easy to follow. I am half way towards building the Bigboy truck and still enthralled with it. Shut myself in the shed, with the radio on and a cup of coffee, and I lose track of time. Some of the parts take some persuading to come out of the cut-outs and it's no good using brute force as breaking one of the pieces would cause problems. Everything fits together superbly, and it's great when you start to see it shaping up. I love them, and going to spend a fortune on them in the future, but they are worth every penny.

I new this kit wasnt going to be easy, over 500 parts, but found not enough spare parts to replace the ones broken trying to remove from board, also only one size elastic band, which means trying to cut and tie to a specific size I found the arrows showing were specific parts fit are barely visible on the instructions, in all enjoyable to do but manufacturing could do better

A great wooden model kit which is definitely worth the money. Some parts are fiddly to do and having an understanding of where to put pressure on parts to fit together is an advantage. The instruction booklet is easy to follow but the mirroring part could do with actual pictures to follow to ensure all is correct.

This is not an easy model to make. It is often very frustrating. You have to deal with a lot of internal mechanisms, which may not be ideal for a casual model maker. I have been making models for 20+ years so not a beginner. Pieces are held together with wooden cocktails sticks. The tightness means that its often very difficult to slot the sticks into the available holes. I spent most of my time shaving down the sticks with a sharp knife. You also need to use elastic bands to wind up and power the moving parts. The pieces are easy to break. I am not a clumsy person, actually very careful - but I broke 5 pieces in total, luckily they were non essential internal parts so they didn't show. I worked on this for a full month (a few hours every day) so you need patience to do it. Once it starts taking shape, you do start to feel satisfied. So its fabulous looking when its all over, just be sure you want to put yourself through the ordeal.

I've bought loads of the ugears models for my husband and father in law and they love them!! Tried other brands like Rokr but they didn't like them. These are so perfectly designed that they fit together properly with no glue and the moving parts actually work! The only problem we have now is where to display them all!!

Debut Ugears kit for me. This is the highest quality, precision engineered adult toy making. I probably picked difficult model to start with but loving it! Highly recommend if you enjoy putting things together. And here in ireland they have real people on customer support - thanks NN.

Es genial. Pero hay que ir con mucho cuidado a la hora de montarlo, no podemos olvidarnos que es contrachapado y por tanto endeble en algunas piezas. A mi realmente me ha entretenido mucho. Compraré mas productos de esta firma.

Som vanligt är det svårt att få mekaniken att fungera, en liten ställning ska kunna vridas ut med brev MEN Nej det lyckades inte.

Gave as a gift along with the cab. He loved it. I finally found a gift that keeps him busy for hours. He was proud of himself. Loved the moving parts
