I purchased the Willow Portable Breast Milk Cooler to safely store breast milk while pumping away from home, and it has been a reliable solution for short outings and busy days. I’ve used this cooler after pumping during errands, appointments, and times when I didn’t have immediate access to a refrigerator. It fits Willow milk containers perfectly and keeps milk cold for several hours without needing ice packs or extra prep. I like that it’s truly grab-and-go — there’s nothing to freeze ahead of time, which is a huge plus when you’re juggling pumping, schedules, and kids. The cooler itself feels well made and durable. It has a solid, structured design that protects the containers inside, and the lid seals securely so I don’t worry about leaks or temperature loss. It’s also compact enough to fit inside a tote or diaper bag without taking up too much space, which makes it more practical than a traditional bulky cooler. What I like most: • Keeps breast milk cold for several hours • No ice packs required • Designed specifically to fit Willow containers • Compact, sturdy, and easy to transport • Simple to use with no setup Things to consider: • Capacity is limited, so it works best for shorter trips rather than all-day pumping • The price is higher than basic coolers, but you’re paying for the convenience and compatibility Cleaning has been easy so far, and the materials feel like they’ll hold up to regular use. For me, the convenience and peace of mind outweigh the cost, especially when pumping on the go can already feel stressful. Overall, this cooler does exactly what it’s meant to do and has made transporting milk much simpler. I’d recommend it to Willow pump users who want a reliable, hassle-free way to keep milk cold while out running errands, at work, or during short travel days.

My first order had to be returned because it was leaking from the cap. The replacement came and worked fine initially, but within a few weeks the ice pack piece cracked. However, my bigger concern and why I stopped using it immediately, is that the cap is shedding plastic pieces into the milk... we've been using the munchkin baby bottle brush to clean it and the plastic is so poorly made it has become scratched and little shaving are coming off. While the thermos itself is stainless steel, the cap goes into the thermos (and makes contact with the milk) so to be made from such cheap plastic that would shred under a bottle brush is very concerning.

I love this product! The Willow Portable Breast Milk Cooler has been a game-changer for me as a working mom who’s always on the go. Its sleek, water-bottle-like design is not only discreet but also super practical, fitting perfectly in my car’s cup holder and the Willow Pump Anywhere Bag. With a 16 oz capacity, it easily holds milk from 3-4 pumping sessions, and it truly keeps the milk cold all day—up to 24 hours below 59°F, just as promised, meeting CDC and ABM guidelines. The stainless steel construction feels durable, and I appreciate the non-toxic gel ice pack built into the lid, which keeps things mess-free without needing extra ice. It’s also TSA-compliant, making travel a breeze, and being dishwasher-safe (except for the ice pack) makes cleanup simple. The only thing that would make it better would be if it had a pour spout. Transferring milk can be a bit tricky without one, especially when I’m in a rush. I’ve also heard some users mention issues with the ice pack cracking if not frozen properly, but I’ve had no problems so far by following the 8-12 hour freezing instructions.
